I liked 1. Location downtown 2. Breakfast buffet got lots of varieties 3. Fast check in procedure Wasn't happy with 1. Outdated rooms & furniture 2. Carpets are smelly with humidity 3. Very narrow parking lot
I stayed at the Radisson Blu for 2 months as a airline crew and felt very dissapointed in their services overall. The internet for the two rooms I was in was very very slow, sometimes unable to load a simple clip from Facebook. I also have to constantly ask for my room to be cleaned. Not once or twice but three times after many excuses from the hotel. The food is ok but not great and I sure didn't feel the hospitality or the 4 stars hotel service that was promised.
Old hotel with staff lacking basic training and very limited dining options and rooms that need refurbishing and renovation. Management (If any) doesn't seem to worry about such issues because I highlighted it in an internal and private survey before posting it here (usually I prefer to make only positive reviews and keep the less positive one to a private communication ) and they just acknowledged it without even trying to know more or ask for specific points of dissatisfaction. This is a subjective review based on my own criteria so other travelers might well try it and maybe it fits their expectation and criteria.
Only stay here as it is close to where I do business. The rooms look and feel very old-worn furniture, bedding and curtains. I'm not sure what staff in the breakfast area are paid for (maybe only to clear the tables?). I need to approach them every time I wanted coffee. It is okay-if you need to stay in the area
I really enjoyed the dinner there which is usually changed daily in addition to the other Japanese restaurant which I did not try but in comparison to he one I tried I think it will be very good , also there is a big free car parking place and very friendship way of dealing with customers.
A nice Japanese restaurant is situated in the lobby, it was very tasty, a great alternative to another bowl of humus! Reasonable service, quick check-in, the room was spacious, clean, very good AC, large bathroom. Tea, coffee and snacks. Free wifi, good selection of TV channels. The bed was a king size, very comfortable. Breakfast was a classic buffet, nothing to complain about. I will come back
Since I was kid I wished to stay there because of its outside hejazi style And in July 2017 i decide to try it and it was a nice experience Renovated rooms and a clean bathroom I recommend this hotel for visitors
Ok, so I have stayed at the top tier, when the comoany was paying, but I was back in Jeddah for a wedding on my own, without my husband, so I needed somewhere more reasonably priced, but also safe for a woman on her own. Having read the reviews of this hotel, I was not disappointed. They were remarkably accurate. The staff are what really tips the place into 4 stars, they cant do enough. The waiter at breakfast even went to find me a cafetiere of coffee because I dont like instant (sadly the norm in KSA...if you dont like instant coffee, deny all offers of "American" coffee, because it is Nescafe). The fabric of the hotel is dated, but the rooms are clean, and the quality of linen and towels was brand new. The bed was confortable. As i said, the staff make the place; i just felt safe. Lots of airline crews staying there, so plenty of international flavour, and its convenient for old city centre locations. All in all, a good find in a sea of mediocrity!
The hotel is centrally located but still need a taxi to go around . Great staff , special thanks to Mohammad Eftab from the front desk . Great jasmine aroma in the club level . My room was in the fifth floor , club room , nothing fancy , average amenities no tooth brush or shaving razor . Coffee and tea maker is a plus . U need one elevator to the lobby and another one to go the rooms . Thanks to all .
We stayed at this property due to proximity to our friends home. Check in was extremely fast and efficient. We had a club lounge level room which was nicer than a standard room. The entire hotel had a very smokey smell, including the room. The bathrooms were very nice and modern. The club lounge was pretty good. Had cold drinks and a small breakfast in the morning with fruit and some meats, cereal and croissants. Not bad at all. The manager of the lounge was excellent and extremely attentive and polite. Really a good man that does his job quite well. I would stay here again when I return.
