If I'm honest, the room itself is not so bad. The problem is the AC which at the lowest speed is so much noisy that is impossible to sleep. Windows do not seal well so the room is pretty noisy also due this. Services in the hotel are really on the limit. My feeling is that employees are not interested for any kind of job if this one is not specially requested. Breakfast food is poor and always the same. There is no kitchen in the hotel, so all food is delivered from some external restaurant...
I'm sorry to say that, but here there's nothing that make me happy. The hotel is an old building that need to be renewed, especially furnitures of the rooms. Even breakfast is located in a terrible room, not comfort, dark, not particulary clean.
I stayed there for 2 nights on a business trip. The view from the room is superb. The price of room with breakfast, wifi is really good. Its nice for a quick business trip as the location is also easy to get and quickly you can reach the airport. The only shortcoming was that after one serving water etc is chargeable. The staff also was very courteous.
Madina palace hotel located near to jeddah south corniche , good location you can easily have sea view room.good for short stay .breakfast not much variety but not bad .The best thing is you are very close ti downtown where you can shopping.
the only good thing is the reception stuff then you won't see any satisfying thing from the bad decor of the rooms to the bad services of these working Indians painting is horrible you may find a hole in the bath roof you may find another level at your room's floor carrying 2 old chairs its view is part of jeddah port & in front of the hotel is fuel station there is wifi but its very slow this hotel is some how far from balad & markets of jeddah i think you have to take taxi from 15 to 20 sar to get closer of any thing .
Walked into the room and was rendered speechless by the luxurious decor. Was unfortunately only there for one night but had an awesomely peaceful sleep on one of the softest beds I've been on in a while. :) Had to spend some time waiting in the reception area till our cab picked us up but had good and prompt service whilst we waited. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.
