We visited the Holiday Inn at Jeddah, as this was highly recommended by the Holiday Inn Hotel Manager Yanbu (same owner). Upon our arrival, there was a very friendly welcome by the hotel recpetionist and we got great rooms at the tenth floor (renovated). Excellent choice with good views through the city, however the location of the hotel is awful and you would not leave the hotel without the car! The hotel was the breakfast is good, but not even close as good as at the Holiday Inn Yanbu. We were the only European Family in the hotel, but there was not a problem at all. We migth visit again, but the locations makes it hard to commit.
Nice hotel, good rooms, comfortable beds...good breakfast and dinner menu. Gym is adequate, but personally, the start time for gym was a bit late at 7 am. Overall a good stay. Helpful staff. Looking forward to staying again.
The location is slightly out of the way if you need to be in town for business but the prices are good. Staff are helpful and efficient. Elevators are temperamental. Rooms are decent and sufficient for getting work done but could use a bit of updating. As an IHG Platinum member I sometimes get a suite but can't really use it for much if I am only there for a day. The Internet is reliable. The breakfast is good with nice drinks and freshly made eggs.
Needs TLC and investment as the room look old. Location is not good if you working in North Jeddah as close to the Industrial Zone and the roads around the hotel are messy and congested. Food is OK nothing special, issue for any business man/woman would be location relative to where they need to be. Most places are moving north or at least to Talihah St. So unless you have lots of business in Balad stay elsewhere. Pricewise? I found expensive and see my other review of a newer hotel that was cheaper
Perfect hotel for business trips and stay. The staff is friendly and fast in their service and everything about the stay was amazing. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Only criticism would be to upgrade the access cards because these need to be reset everytime i keep it in my pocket next to my phone.
Every visit I find the hotel different I'll leave the pictures talking I will not forget the hotel reception Everyone was at the top All Front Office staff deserve distinction I will never forget Mr Omar You are creative in management Superior in communicating with colleagues and with guests Thank you for making my stay excellent جميع الغرف التي أقمت فيها ممتازة اترك الصور تتحدث عن الابداع فندق رائع جدا يمثل IHG
Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights during the pilgrimage period, awaiting for my flight back home. During pilgrimage you are recommended not to get mad, not to complain. So we stayed there without comment. The room is okay, quiet sizable. The building is old, maybe the owner plan to demolish the building. Location is in the old area, far from everywhere. The bathroom is the nightmare. The shower is clogging causing the bathroom to flood. Let the manager manage the problem but apparently the bathroom need major surgery so no one can help. And that causes the room to smell bad. They should have lock up the room or demolish the building once and for all. Will not come back and will never recommend this to anyone for sure.
This hotel is one of the oldest modern hotel in Jeddah. It was one of Jeddah's pride about 30 years ago. I was so impressed with the renovation of the rooms. Nice hotel, clean, wide rooms and nice view. It was really great to stay at this hotel after all these years and you still enjoying the space. The path was renovated totally with new equipment and new style.
Very unprofessional staff they changed my reservation from king size bed to twin bed without even taking my permission & when i called to change it the receptionist told me 5 min. Then they stopped answering my calls so i had to stay for one night as i was coming from Hajj with my wife & we were so tired. Room cleanness is average but bathroom was full of dirt in wall & floor , uncleaned towels & even when i asked to be replaced the new towels is also not clean I am member of IHG group but i don't recommend this hotel specifically to stay
Old hotel in jeddah with a strategic location near to bab makkah and not far from balad, nice swimming pool and nice decoration in the lobby. The rooms are clean and confortable but need maintenance and renovation speacially in the bath rooms . The staff are very polite, professional and helpful. Don't miss the breakfast, in the morning they offer a variety of tasty food.
