Rodeway Inn & Suites Jacksonville near Camp Lejeune

Pool is down. We were charged am additional $100 deposit upon arrival that wasn't mentioned on the site. Toilet in room leaked when you flushed it and mini fridge didn't work. Room was clean and staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff was great, When checked in the first room was not great was moved to another room. Pool was out of servicey, No break fast was include only Items was Coffee or Juice .

Rodeway inn hotel was the absolutely WORST hotel I’ve ever cheated into. It was extremely bummy and smelt disgusting. Our room didn’t even have drawers to the dresser. My boyfriend and I checked out after we got to our room. We booked a new stay right away. The staff laughed at us for leaving. While checking in, there was another customer standing behind us complaining about how gross her room was and how she was missing towels, pillows, etc. we make it up to our room and the bathtub had black stains ALL over it!! It was entirely trashy. The entire place stunk of smoke and body odor. I am pissed at the money I lost while booking here.

Room 215. Good WiFi, good beds, good hot water. Fair AC. Need a lamp on the desk. Room was dim; only 2 lamps with low watt bulbs. No alarm clock on night stand. No hot beverage cups to use with coffee maker.

Room was dirty bedspread had burn holes in it toilet seat did not fit the toliet air conditioner did not work correctly

2nd time staying here. 1st stay we found dead roaches in room and a HUGE bug alive crawling around. No hand towels how do you dry your hands after washing them? 2nd time shower head is about to pop out if wall and housekeeping didnt leave and towels. Im sure this deserves no more than 2 stars but, its jacksonville and no one really cares and you get what you pay for.

Good price and location. Does not have amenities like others, but still good for price.

My cousin room had bedbugs and now somethings biting my son. Tub was dirty.

The big problem I had was that the toilet flap was broken. You could not flush it. I notified them about 3:30pm. When I returned at 7:30 p.m. Oh, I was told maintenance would be out the following day (after I checked out). The bottom line was that they were happy to bring them in on a Saturday but not to fix the problem during working hours on a Friday. There was no other room available. So I was stuck your room with no working toilet because of their decision not to fix it the same day. Also two of the towels and one of the bedspreads had stains on them.

The staff at Rodeway in Jacksonville were very nice. The hotel is not very well kept up. Sink drain was broken. Toilet did not flush properly. Towels were available for 2 people and there were 3 of us. I had to ask for clean towels our second day. There was a microwave and coffee pot, but no cups or glasses to drink out of. There was a tiny amount of complimentary shampoo and conditioner, i think. We had to get staff to help us turn on the TV. Price was excellent. We have stayed here before and will probably stay here again.

Really only thing was no ice dispenser on 2 floor,a/c worked great, girls at front desk did a great job

Although the staff was very helpfully in trying to solve the problems...none were solved...my TV never worked properly,despite the efforts of the staff, the room phone never worked, my door didn't close on it's own, I had to push it closed. Bottom line...for my next family reunion....I won't return.

The hotel room was very well furnished and equipped with a personal AC unit as well as comfortable beds with clean sheets and pillows. The hanger area was a tad broken and coming off the hinge but was still usable. Service was good at replacing the sheets and towels in the room. There is a small pool that is always kept clean and it is not too far from the beach. It is conveniently placed in an area to grab groceries and eat at restaurants. Checking in and out was no hassle at all. The only bad thing is the road in which you have to turn into to get to the hotel.

The pool was awesome. My daughter loved playing in it - it was way cleaner than our room. Our room had crumbs on the floor, the towels were stained, the bath tub was dirty, and there was dust on the baseboards and under the desk and by the mini fridge. The front desk girl was super nice but, the hotel definitely needs to provide help for her at night. Also, the back door didn't lock...it was always propped open...which made me uncomfortable. It was okay for just sleeping and using the pool.

I booked for a non smoking room, when I arrived in the hotel I was given a room that has a very strong smell of cigarette smoke, I went back to the front desk and complain, the hotel staff said the reason why smells like smoke it's because it's next to the place where people smoke. I requested to be moved to another room because I have asthma and I can stand the smell and the front desk staff gave me an attitude and she said she needs to make sure that we didn't touch anything in the room and I even go with her to witness, it's not even 5 minutes when they gave the room and they are like accusing me already that I used it. They said the only room available is the old unit that has a ver loud air conditioning, I have no choice but to take it because I was so tired of the long drive from Virginia and end up didn't get a sleep at all because the air conditioning is too loud,

This hotel worked well for us for a one night stay with our grandchildren. Two queen beds were comfortable the room had a microwave and refrigerator. Clean and fresh.

I had to change rooms 3 times. First because water damage repairs were made and the smell was so horrible to breath, second room had a hole in the tub and they asked that I move so they could do repairs. Third room, suitable was adequate I guess just North Carolina air made everything so damp even the carpet. The good news, the staff was wonderful from the manager Miss Barabara to the night crew. Would i stay again, now thats 50/50 because this was my first stay in NC i dont know if other hotels could fo better.
