There are many hotels located in Jacksonville, Florida. You might be overwhelmed at first, but once you see the excellent options the local boutique hotels offer, you will find yourself perfectly at ease. Especially if you like staying in a location in which bistros or spas are plentiful, you are at the right address. Jacksonville not only has wonderful hotels, it also has equally wonderful sights to see.

Discover another side to Jacksonville (FL)

This city is known for its beaches and waterways. With a location in the state of Florida, it comes as no surprise to hear this is one of the first things that come to mind with most visitors. However, Jacksonville also is home to the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. What makes this zoo so special is that you can be a zookeeper for a day and feed and care for the animals.

Another way to stay close to nature, yet see more of Jacksonville is by visiting the Treaty Oak. This is probably the oldest living tree in Jacksonville. It has been standing for 250 years and is an octopus-like Southern oak which you do not get to see often.

As is usual in large cities, there are plenty restaurants available. A popular pick is Clarks Fish Camp. This place serves great food but is mostly known for its unique dining experience. Their menu is also worth mentioning since they offer a very wide variety of foods. Another place to check out for delicious cuisine is the Maple Street Biscuit Company, which has pretty much everything you could wish for when it comes to breakfast.
