Since the person that pick me up continue with the Customer Service agent then breakfast crew and then cleaning lady until I left my experience was AMAZING. I had visit a lot of hotels and this was the BEST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD. Continue giving the best
Hotel had been recently renovated but the workmanship was poor. The hotel in general was clean. The staff was friendly. The elevator needed work it creaked and hesitated and made sounds like the cables were unwinding, it was frightening to ride.
Anjay the owner is extremely helpful. His staff does an incredible job of taking care of and maintaining the hotel. I have seen this hotel transfer over the years and they have made it extremely smooth!
Maybe we just had bad luck. It was hard to book online, took 3 tries. Checked in late, 11pm or so. Lobby was clean and nice. Got to the room (200) and it had an awful musty odor, we thought maybe bc the AC was on but ignored it bc we were so tired. Bathroom had no toilet paper. After preparing for bed we heard a dripping noise that grew more intense. Turned all of the lights on and the ceiling was dripping a LOT.... there were floors above us. The ceiling was soaked through and starting to fall in on us. We put a trash can on the ground to collect water and called the front desk right away. The first thing she says is OH GOD I'LL CALL THE OWNER, and hung up. No apology or anything. We waited a few minutes and she called back saying they had ONE other room available. Ok. We pack up and head down to the lobby, where she again says how this is the last room available like it was a big deal. Checked into room 112. Both rooms had bugs. Beetles. Room 112, we checked in about 12am and only slept until 2am as the upstairs folks were super loud and the walls/floors are VERY thin. The water pipes were super loud also. Breakfast started at 0700. Went in at 0702, and all of the lights were off but the food was out. I could hear employees talking in the kitchen, personal topics. They finally come out and turn the lights on, and she says, "You're a few minutes early." No, I'm not and we've been up since 0200. Oh and in room 112, the bathroom was really dirty, behind the toilet was nasty. For $180 for ONE night you would think the hospitality would be a little better. That being said, breakfast was good and the rest of the day staff was friendly. We travel through Pearl several times a year but will never stay here again.
This hotel has been recently renovated and has an updated and modern look and feel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast provided different options every day and I LOVED watching the geese and turtles in the pond behind the hotel. Great stay all around...thank you!
The staff were friendly but our room was not cleIaned properly and we had to have someone come clean the bathroom and change the stained sheets. They said they remodeled a year ago, but our room was only partially remodeled. This hotel stay was ok, but definitely not my favorite.
We have stayed here about 10 times in the last year and a half due to a family situation in town. We like this hotel. It's comfortable, affordable and the staff are friendly. We will continue to use it.
the hotel was clean and convenient to the areas I wanted to visit. the staff was friendly and greeted us warmly. They were able to answer all questions we had about the facility and were very helpful. the fitness center was adequate. The only issue I had was the elevator made a lot of noise going down and that was sort of creepy.
I always enjoy my stay at Country Inn and Suites when I come to Jackson, Mississippi. I stay at the hotel twice year it's during the times when I drop off and pick up my neice from Jackson State university.
Recently stayed here on buisness. I've stayed in several Country Inn and Suites over the years and this was not up to the others I stayed in. It has been very recently been remodeled and it looks like it was a rush job. In our room the molding didn't match up, your could hear the wind blowing around the windows and apparently there was a leak in the room above due to a big stain in the ceiling. Indoor pool was nice except it was missing a window and you had to fight mosquitoes while you swam. Not much insulation in the walls. You could pretty much hear everything going on in the halls and connecting rooms. The elevator is a scary with various jerks and noises. Smoking area needs to be moved away from the front entrance. Kept having to walk thru guys smoking to get in the door plus there was endless cigarette butts on the ground. The big plus is its workers. Very nice and accommodating. I had trouble with my card for incidentals but they went out of their way to get me checked in. The workers are why I would stay here again.
