The room was extremely hot. I understand that the weather has changed outside, but what is the purpose of having the ac/heater control box in the rooms if the front desk controls the temperature in each room? The concierge that helped me with my bag explained to me that we could change the temperature in our room when I first checked in, so I tried to turn the temperature down but the control panel was locked. The rep the next day at the counter didn't understand what I said about turning the heater down (she said no everytime even with Google Translate), so later that evening, the same male clerk at the counter from my check in was able to change the controls to have the fan on and lower the temperature. I saw the whole room temperature control thing on another review but I didn't believe it. Luckily, the window in my room was already cracked at check in and during my stay. The water pressure in the bathroom was awful -- the sink sounded like it was stopped up when I turned in on in the morning and the rain shower head was broken, so I had to use the hand held shower head but even still the water pressure was weak. The breakfast options were very unsatisfactory. I opted for oatmeal because that was the only feasible item. Also, I was not informed of what time the restaurant closed when I checked in, so by the time I came back on my first night, the restaurant was closed. I asked the male rep at the counter if there was any food places around and he said he didn't know.

We stayed one night. Booked 2 rooms for 4 adults. Very nice stay. Valet parking when we arrived. Staff are helpful and friendly. Lobby is comfortable. One room was smoky so we opened windows while we were out and it seemed to air out nicely. We had beautiful corner rooms with lots of windows. Beds were comfortable but with only a thin scratchy blanket and no top sheet. We are used to having more blankets. The room was a good temperature even tho outside was a little cool. We walked to Smyrna Agora about 20 minute easy and interesting walk. Google maps did a bad job of taking us the long way around. We ate supper at Ramada Hotel about a block away from NK hotel. Breakfast room and food was great.

Overall, I had a positive experience at the hotel. There was a minor issue with the air conditioning, but it was eventually resolved. The staff were very helpful throughout my stay. While the language barrier posed some challenges, I was still able to achieve most of what I needed. The hotel is well-located, close to the city centre, and provided a comfortable base for my visit.

The location is good, easy to grab Ubers. Our room was hot and the A/C did not work properly. With temps of 100 degrees, our room was unbearable. We called the front desk, they said they control it but couldn’t get it to work and gave us no other solutions. Internet is spotty at best - if you can even connect.
