How Can Hotels.com call this 4 stars

Aksan Hotel is definitely NOT 4*...It would not eve get 2* in UK or USA. I felt cheated. & it left a bad impression of Hotels.com with me too, as this was my first booking with them. Water leaking from neighbouring room into my bathroom. Don't know what type of water! Uncomfortable beds. Booked & paid for a twin room & they tried to say I only booked a single. They then said it was Hotels.com who made the mistake!!! Not clean at all. Carpets were filthy. Bedding was washed but not ironed. The buffet breakfast was very nice. The TV listing card said they had BBC, but as usual misled again. Not a single English channel. Free parking included was on the street, if you were lucky to arrive when taxis were not hogging it!

We booked this hotel for 3 nights but checking out after a night and go to anemon ege hotel. The towels and bed sheets are smelly and the room is ruin out. Not recommended to anyone

Don't use the laundry service here

We stayed for 2 nights and had some laundry done during our stay. Only half of our laundry was returned, after several conversations with reception we had all of our things back however there was a large mark on the sleeve of a jacket. When we told reception they told us to take it to a dry cleaner and did not seem to care that they ha damaged it. We were offered a 10tl discount (the price of the jacket being laundered). They were u willing to do anything else and did not seem to care.

A 10-Day Stay, just about worth it

After arriving on the first of ten days, I was impressed at how well the hotel stands out from the surrounding area in terms of looks and feel. This however is likely due to the quality of the immediate surrounding area. The location is not important but still, disappointing in terms of safety-at-night and distance to the city center. The staff were always welcoming, but quickly became brick walls when something was in error (such as a room having the wrong beds, or general information). They were however, tolerant of a novice speaker of the language. The breakfast was nice and varied, no complaints there. The room was comfortable but still, there was a constant feel of not-enough. The decor was pleasing, although slightly fake (stone brick wallpaper, peeling). Adequate space for storage, hairdryer in the bathroom and enough space to spread out and relax. At least the windows open (even if the street outside is busy 24/7, and the hotel is located within earshot of a fire station, hospital and motorway). The aircon in my room was barely working. And very very low tech. However in my friends room, it was slightly better, and came with a remote control for adjusting the temperature per degree. Potluck I guess. The room service was nice. Only, don't order anything fried unless you really like the taste of oil. And bring your own hand wipes.

Good hotel for a deep sleeper

The overall impression was pretty good. However, if you are a light sleeper and can easily wake up with noises, I wouldn't recommend you this hotel. So many dogs outside near the hotel were barking really early in the morning- like 3-4am.

De suite stonk als een asbak, er was geen jacuzzi zoals bij de boeking vermeld was. Personeel was niet echt vriendelijk. Als klap op de vuurpijl; de tweede dag liepen we langs de receptie, waar we te horen kregen dat het hotel failliet was en we maar een ander hotel moesten zoeken. Het bleek dat het personeel al anderhalve maand geen salaris ontving, vandaar de niet zo vriendelijke gezichten waarschijnlijk. Aangezien het de eerste Kerstdag was, lukte het niet om snel contact te leggen met Expedia. Gelukkig heeft het personeel toch nog gevraagd of het hotel naast hun, nog kamers beschikbaar had. En dat hadden ze, hotel Tempo Comfort Residence heeft ons een suite gegeven, wat een verademing! Zeer ruim en schoon zonder sigarettenstank. Gelukkig is onze vakantie niet verpest, maar dat was dankzij Tempo Comfort Residence.

Hotel com üzerinden Süit oda diye rezervasyon yaptırıp konaklama ücretini de geri ödemesiz peşin ödeyip otele gittik suit odayı görünceye şoke olduk. Böyle rezil bir Süit oda görmedik. Otelde konaklamadan bir başka otele gittik.. Böyle otelleri Hotel com listesinden çıkarın başkalarıda resimlere bakıp aldanmasın.. Otelde konaklamadığımız halde ücreti de geri vetmediler.. Akşamları Otel mi bir daha Allah korusun 4 yıldızlı bir otel değil burası yıldızları haketmiyor.. Yıldızları da sökülmeli Yıldız ile insanlar kaldırılmasını olur.. Her şeyi ile sıradan bir otel..
