A very good hotel in a perfect location. Can provide you rooms with lovely golden horn view or u can have a very silent room with no view. It only depends what u want. But hotel is clean and very good at the services...
The reception people are really unwelcoming. They also do not provide you with service required, say you wanted to be called when driver arrives, or any small request. The food is also bad. The location is really far from anywhere. I do not recommend this hotel, it is not your typical experience you would have with any Hilton Garden Inn, this is different, it is more like visiting a military hostel as the staff are really exceptionally rude.
Great property, central, peaceful, high quality service. Ideal for Family and or business travelers. The staff and food are high quality. Good view of golden horn. I’ll definietly be visiting whenever i am in Istanbul.
This hotel is not 4 stars Hilton. My room was quiet with Golden Horn View. Bathroom was ok but I saw some long hair in bathtub.Towels were very old and water pressure was not ok.Bed was comfortable but sheets was not clean. This hotel needs more check for cleaning.Reception staff speaks very good English as Hilton staff.
I spent three nights here on a business trip and it had everything that I needed. The rooms were good enough, no frills, clean. The hotel was very close to the conference center and just down the hill had beautiful views. In fact, my view from the room was very nice. Staff was friendly and used to helping foreign visitors. I generally felt safe also, which is a big thing for a solo traveler.
I’ve stayed in many hotels this was by far the best experience overall anyone whom wants a headache free cost effective stay with little input and everything at fingertips with great views and good nights sleep this is the place to be
That's the hotel Turkish Airlines offered me for a long connection. Next time I will pay a hotel myself: this Hilton is just a shame, with the worst customer service I have seen in the last years. 1. At our arrival, the manager who was working on the early afternoon of Thursday nine November shouted us to sit down and told us he would have called us for check in later - that in a super impolite way. 2. We asked for a double and we got a room with twin beds.... ... in a empty hotel! 3. I asked for Wifi code and the manager looked at me as if I was a handicapped person. He just told me that it is obviously very easy... I went balistic. I felt absolutely offended by his behaviour. 4. The elevator was not working for me and other 4 persons: the feedback we got is that we were in the wrong elevator and is written on the wall... but such a tone again! Are you talking to your clients or to your dogs...?! 5. We asked about the meals: the manager informed us we were not entitled to get meals. We asked again about breakfast and he told us that yes we would have right to it but as we would have left at 6h30 they could not provide an early breakfast... ... A Hilton, four stars hotel, cannot provide a cup of tea and a croissant at 6h30?! Are we serious?! 6. The towels are so old that are full of holes (please look the photo attached). 7. You got such a little bottle of shower/bath gel that it is not enough for a shower... 8. The room is super cold. The heater is not working. 9. The pressure of the shower is super low: really difficult to wash your hair with that water.. 10. Location: the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. To get the city centre you absolutely need to take a taxi. Sleeping there was a nightmare. The only positive point of the room is that the mattress was confortable. Do not go there: there are plenty of hotels which offer wonderful service in Istanbul. And you can easily get a good deal!!
Arriving at 1130 at night as a group of 62 passengers from Turkish Airlines; the sole receptionst on duty (Umut Jespi) did a fantastic job in not only getting everyone checked in; but also with all the other issues caused by 62 tired, angry and hungry customers. Umut arranged internet access for us to rebook flights and was always on hand with the bottle opener for our beers. Although the promised food by Turkish Airlines was not available there is a little shop on site that sold snacks and drinks. The next morning; we enjoyed the lovely views across the Bosphorous from the picture window in our large and comfortable double bedroom. Breakfast was buffet style and as we arrived late the other residents had behaved like locusts and devoured everything. There are comfortable lounges, and a nice garden outside with food and drink available. We mistakenly accepted the set 3 course lunch on offer instead of paying the extra and eating a la carte. All the staff were efficient, polite and helpful and we would certainly stay again if we return to istanbul under better circumstances, Thanks again to Umut.
Clean hotel with friendly staff. City view rooms are considerably smaller, but much better views and importantly you avoid the noise from the construction work going on at the rear of hotel. Breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and went the extra mile to accommodate requests. We had a car during the stay and used the free secure underground parking. It was great place to drive off to the many attractions in Istanbul.
Clean, quiet hotel, in walking distance from great monuments and public transportation. Big single rooms, variety of options at breakfast, good WiFi. Polite, helpful, multilingual personnel. Good value for money choice for a short trip.
