I had been there during my honeymoon Staff where very cooperative and welcoming.the view from the top in the resturant was amazing to the peshourus I would like to go back there again The point I had that the rooms usually small there

We stayed at this hotel in late February 2017. Unfortunately the service and the breakfast was very bad! The Rooms were so small and nothing like the photos! The bathroom was really dirty and they didn't come to clean the rooms during our 7 nights stay! I will never ever return to this hotel !

I am writing about the Spa. I bought a 75 minute massage clearly stating the time when making the appointment. The man at the desk called me twice to clarify the time and asking if I can come a little early (even though it was 5 minutes before my appointment). When I arrived I asked if there was a problem to give my 75 minutes, he said yes of course, we have another appointment in 40 minutes. He asked me to cancel it! No way, I booked for 75 minutes, I will get that. He proceeded to argue with me (they really have no clue about customer service in Turkey!) so I went to get the hotel manager who came out and barely said two words to me, instead just taking me back to the incompetent twit at the desk. Finally they agreed to give my massage. Note: they recycled the paper slippers, hair and dirt all over! I tried to relax after that disgusting episode, and must admit the masseuse was good, but then she finished at just 60 minutes. Horrible place. The details I can overlook but the complete lack of customer care is appauling. The hotel industry is suffering now in Turkey, the last thing they need is to lose customers with their low quality service.

The location is good. Because it's situated in centre of the city. There are the street Istiklal and Taksim. You can go by walking about 5 minutes. The rooms are clean and tidy. If you ask housekeeper to clean your room every day it is done!!! The bathroom is clear. But air vent doesn't work normally. It smells bad that I vomited. The kettle doesn't work. When we asked to change the kettle they did it. But it didn't work again. The breakfast is so so. Every day the same one. No choices. I would like to say to the hotel management to change the concept of the breakfast to add some food. The team of the hotel is friendly and polite. They assist in every situation. I liked only rooms and the team.

When the taxi told me this is your stop .. I had huge smile on my face .. the LOCATION is crazy amazing. Hotel front desk staff were nice .. welcoming ... my room very small .. but was ok. The place got amazing view from the roof top for breakfast. The breakfast it self is the worst out there ... I dont even think the food is a hotel standards. But for the food I went out anyways cause the hotel is close to everything almost. The staff are a bit ( everyone on his own in a way ) I usually have some guest to come to my room to get some papers for work and leave.. but they have this wired policy about it .. after the hotel manager knew who I am and what I do... he agree for them to come up . But the problem was after his shift finish .. other staff gave me hard time and they had to call the manager in accord hours and was really a mess. For this kind of ( 4 stars hotel as they said ) .. they should be more on a high level and make it better.

The hotel was good and the room was clean. What I didn't like is the lighting in which the room seems to be dark. But the hotel has a great location which is near the shops and you could go to them walking.

Horrible service - staff is always out to squeeze some money in some way from you - the hotel is well located and th breakfast is nice - however the property uses its own parking as paid public parking so there is a huge noise factor if you need to get good sleep

I ended up at the City Centre Hotel by default - my travelling companion didn't like the accommodation I had booked and refused to stay there. He managed to negotiate a bargain price for the hotel but in the end it was not bargain. The basic rooms are quite small and awkward. I could hardly move in the first one I was allocated. I was moved to a slightly better one after a sleepless night from nearby music but found that the music was even louder in the second room. There is an adjacent restaurant which has music that goes on well after midnight and it is very loud and affects the rooms on both the street side and the side overlooking the carpark. I can't speak for the other rooms. The rooms despite being small were nicely decorated but the bathrooms were a real problem. In the first bedroom there was an awful smell coming from the drainage pipes that almost made me ill. The second room had no bathroom smell when I moved into it but by the end of the week the smell was there too. The grout between the tiles in both bathrooms was stained black with mould - not pleasant. Both bathrooms needed a good scrub and steam clean. The airconditioning - which appeared to be working in the public areas - was not working in the rooms for the entire time of my stay. As the temperature reached 24C and the room i was in was west facing was it stifling. I hate to think what it is like in mid summer. The window opened only slightly but at night one was faced with a choice between the level as noise and the temperature of the room. I did not have a decent sleep for the entire week. Also, despite the airconditioning working in the public spaces, the hallways reeked of cigarette smoke. Perhaps the hotel should consider having allocated non-smoking floors. The staff were generally pleasant and helpful but their limited English did make it difficult at times. The hotel could do with some staff more fluent in English as not a lot of visitors from outside Turkey will have Turkish as a second language but people from all over Europe have English as a second language. There is no tea or coffee facilities in some of the rooms and my request for some for mine was never followed up. I believe this hotel has a lot to do to bring it up to the four star standard it claims. At the moment it is somewhere between two and three stars. The most positive thing to say about it is that it is well located close to Taksim Square and public transport.

i was there for 5 nights . the room was very small and dark very bad smell the bath was very small and dirty . i think this hotel must have just 2 star not 4 . but the view of resturant was Good . it was near the taksim midan .

It's not to be said 4 stars hotel Could Be 3 or 2 House keeping is average Small room and bathroom and lobby Good restaurant and food Good position and accessible to public transportation and shopping stores
