The check-in was easy and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the location is great for our trip, the price per night is competitive, unfortunately there was no water pressure in the shower, and 1 of the fan/light fixtures did not have a functioning remote. We have enjoyed stays here in the past, and we hope the team can correct the issues as we would stay here again on future trips if they do so.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We got the family suite. The double beds were comfortable, but the sofa bed needs a new mattress. Didn’t get much sleep there, but the room was cold enough to sleep comfortably. Everything was clean. Loved how open and welcoming it was. We had a minor issue with our toilet, but staff got it fixed quickly. The area was quiet. We got to enjoy some time out in the lawn chairs. The beach is accessible, but I’m assuming the time for seaweeds is around so we didn’t get to go in the water. It is a little hard to get to restaurants, but we got food delivered to our room. I would recommend staying here for couples, but not with kids.

Beautiful attention to detail at this tiny beach resort. Clean, beautiful beach area with hammock, pool, and parrots! The only lack here is that the only outlet to charge your tech is one plug in the bath.

Sands of Islamorado is a hidden gem. It is a very well maintained piece of Americana. Rooms are updated, spacious and very clean. The pool / lounging area is very well maintained. Got there late and did not meet staff but you can tell they take pride. This was my first time actually stopping in the Keys on the way to Key West and was not let down. Next trip will include several nights at the Sands of Islamorado.
