It’s a beautiful property.

This hotel is trying to be a Boutique hotel with total costs nearing $400 per night and it is falling way short. The service at the front desk is deplorable, only one of the three people I interacted with acted like they wanted to work there. The beach chairs are all sagging and worn out. They have table near the the pool that only serves only mixed drinks made with Barefoot wine, and all the signage is pieces of paper. There is no food available except for convenience store snacks at the front desk and the prepackaged breakfast items that are delivered to your room. There is not even place to get a cold drink of water. There were no beach towels available early in the morning. There is no housekeeping service unless you ask for it, which I found totally unacceptable for an expensive boutique resort. The beach is shallow and very mucky except for one area where they cleaned out a path to walk. On a positive note, the rooms at this resort are very nice and the cleaning is very good. Our room that faced the ocean are also had a wonderful view.

Pretty chill place, loved the location and vibes.

Easy to find. Quick check- in. Did not like my room location… right next to the highway US1

Nice resort undergoing the last stages of a remodeling it appeared. Good fishing off their sea wall and nice grounds. Two pools were a nice way to spread folks out but the hot tub wasn’t working and only one jet pushed any water (no bubbles, just one lone jet). Great continental breakfast. We booked a suite and it was nice but needed more than one garbage can and also no AC in the bathroom or room where the toilet was. So the bathroom and toilet would get REALLY hot and at night you’d have to close the door in the toilet room otherwise there was a bright light that would light up the entire room. No furniture in the suite to put your clothes and only 5 hangers. The pull out couch was AWFUL but for our 10 year old it wasn’t that big of a deal Plenty of room for trailer parking and they do have a small boat ramp.

Nice oceanfront units for a quiet getaway in Islamorada. Has a resort fee daily that is questionable, but all the properties seem to. Easy to get to at one end of parallalel to highway 3 mile stretch of road good for biking.

Quick check in/friendly staff! Gorgeous spacious room. Nice touch with champagne welcoming. Beautiful quiet private beach with 2 pools/lounge chairs and cornhole.

The staff at the busy front office could not be more friendly, helpful or efficient. Greeted by champagne, choice of a continental breakfast delivery, kept in touch asking if enjoying our stay. Place is quite new, would suggest a couple more ice machines, maybe an extra shelf and hook in the bath. Good location near restaurants/ activities. Recommend.

Very clean and very attentive stafe. Well maintained property.

Excellent service, great view, made it a perfect place for a great vacation! Will stay here again!

we had a great time at Chesapeake Resort

This property is all brand new with work still underway with the grounds. The small beach and small lagoon surrounded by decking and a coral sea wall are filled with lounge chairs and tables - the perfect place to enjoy the days. The entire property is landscaped with white sand and palm trees and there is a nice pool ( and an older one one side). Our room is brand new and lovely with a deck in the back; it is the one right next to the office and furthest from the beach ( 75 yards maybe) and it’s still perfect. There is no bar or restaurant. But a breakfast sandwich is included. And in room keurig. Just lovely.

If you like noise…. Stay here. Loud traffic from highway, loud neighbors. We changed rooms to ocean view and had the same noise level. It’s not that people were abnormally loud, there is NO sound proofing! Someone simply walking in front of our door ( at 3 AM) woke us up.

Excellent location, clean exterior and great staff.

Nice place, Newley remodeled and still being remodeled. A little street noise if you are in the units away from the beach. Still nice, I would stay again.

Clean and friendly staff.
