We bring our own kettle and mugs, after the third day our mugs had been removed from room. No message or apology. Enquired at reception, told maid had an accident..what two mugs broken ?? We asked for the broken parts. After 10 minutes they couldn't be found ( did they bother... I think not). Offer to replace them was taken up BUT the mugs were sort of special to us. Hotel refunded our replacements. We were part of a large group. There was NO BAR , so pre-meal drinks needed to be ordered via the Cafe...an almost impossible task, some of our group were confined to their room until mealtimes as there was little else to do. The evening food was indifferent and produced to a low cost with little or no choice. Meat and one veg was sometimes the case for the main meal. The breakfast was considerably better with plenty of choice. Service from some staff was curt and on occassion downright rude, and actions not followed up. They ought not be reminded ! Sometimes water was on the table other times not despite the arrangement that there would be at all times. The room (112) was pleasant and clean, but on the first floor was noisy as the window HAD to be left open as the radiator could not be turned down. The hotel is well situated for the Old Town and its lovely streets and old architecture. Would I reccomend you stay there ? In all honesty NO as I think you will get a better overall experiance elsewhere.
We stayed in this hotel on Boxing Day, nice and comfortable hotel, bit sad to discover that we had a twin rather than a double room, since I was with my girlfriend, service at the reception with quality. Bit noisy in the early morning time especially from the Housekeeping team Overall staying was good.
We spent here one night in december, and we both found this place amazing, especially related to the relation quality / price. The hall is huge, comfortable, modern and very clean and so are the rooms, well equipped of anything you may need (they have hair dryer, a well working one); rooms are also very warm (especially in winter, that's a good thing) modern and minimal. The reception offers the opportunity, after the check out, of leaving the luggage in a room for free, in case, for example, you have some more time to visit around but you don't want to bring the heavy suitcase with you. About the position , this hotel is the best: just 5 minutes far from the city center and maximum 10 minutes from the central station, so it's very easy to arrive and to find. Workers are very kind and welcoming, and the reception is open 24/24 h.
Stayed one night waiting for my family to arrive to connect to Ischgl for skiing. It was a great location for the Christmas Markets - 5 minutes walk to at least 3 of the 5. Clean, modern rooms. Not fancy but comfortable. The cafe attached to the hotel has great food and it is very busy most times of the day. I would stay here again. Close to the River Inn where I saw a White-throated Dipper to add to my European birding list. Even better reason to stay!
Centrally located, but with limited parking you need to pre book. There is a parking station under the hotel. The staff were efficient, but lacked a little of the warmth that we'd received from all the other places that we'd stayed. Room was great though. Breakfast was not included and if you eat at the Cafe Central next door, take your platinum credit card.
We made a group trip to Austria and stayed here. The hotel is located in a main area with many restaurants and lots of different shopping close by. The room while a bit small was quaint with a view of the square right outside the window. The accommodations while not luxurious were very good and the staff helpful. Again it was wonderful to meander around the town right outside your doorway!
We arrived in historic center and at the Tourist Information office we were steered towards another hotel. Unfortunately, that place was not the best choice. For the same price the next night we found the Hotel Central. We were given a very comfortable room with breakfast. It was central to all the touristy things as well as being closer to the train station (handy because we took a day trip in the mountains). Everyone was friendly, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was very comprehensive and fresh. I would definitely stay here again as I really enjoyed Austria and found Innsbruck very nice.
Very good location: within walking distance of the train station and of the old town. Very attractive room and bathroom. We had a window I could sit by and look out over the roofs and the mountains. The room was small by US standards but average for Europe. Excellent breakfast location. Friendly and helpful reception.
We stayed 4 nights in this fine hotel. Excellent location (a pleasant 5 min traffic free walk to Golden Roof), a small private (upon reservation) garage or a public car park underneath, extensive buffet breakfast with fresh carrot juicer. Although we only booked a standard room it was large enough, comfortable, good bathroom and excellent beds. Quiet room, 100% dark. Good free WIFI. Steam bath and sauna with cooling terrace on the roof. It was hot when we were there but we didn’t miss the lack of AC as we don’t have it at home. There is a restaurant in the hotel.
Awesome location, walking distance to the city center. Very friendly stuff of the hotel, we were provided with clear instructions for parking and breakfast. Steam sauna and gym were included to the price of the room. Had very clean room and comfortable bed. Good breakfast at the Cafe Central which you can reach from the hotel directly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay for business and leisure purposes and stay there again myself. It was very hot weather when we stayed in the hotel, so it would be great to have some fan in the room.
