I went there two nights with my boyfriend. The hotel is very nice, it is close to the downtown of the city and it is clean. Room are perfect and the breakfast is excellent. Park available. I suggest it.
We stayed here at end of April We really enjoyed our stay Beautiful location comfortable beds large size rooms sauna too Scenic location varied breakfast and very helpful staff Really enjoyed our stay thank you
Had a very pleasant stay at the Leipziger Hof. Very modern amenities such as good internet connection, motion activated lights in hallways, etc. Very comfortable beds and super clean, updated rooms. Excellent breakfast bar items such as automatic orange juice maker, 4 other juice choices as well as Italian Prosecco, sparkling water, excellent cappucino. Many bread/roll/pastry choices. Salmon, air dried ham, salami, yogurt, fruits, plus eggs and bacon. Dinners were superb. Excellent service, gourmet choices. Wonderful artisticly presented dishes. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The front desk staff was knowledgable and most helpful. They definitely made our week much more enjoyable with their advice.
We stayed here for half a week before heading to a luxury hotel in the mountains. This hotel was a great hotel in town. It was very convenient to get into town by foot or train which stops close by. The hotel offers shuttle service to die Borse Ski Rental so you can conveniently get alpine ski gear. The hotel also offers a convenient shuttle to a central depot where several buses gather to shuttle people to 1 of 9 mountains in the area. There is also a shuttle stop just outside die borse so you can take care of rentals the first morning you arrive and get right on the bus to the slopes, just be sure to get there right when they open. The restaurant in the hotel is just ok, we preferred other restaurants in the area which I have reviewed elsewhere. The breakfast, which is included was sufficient and good. They had hot and cold food with a large assortment of breads and nice coffee. The rooms are standard European rooms, on the smaller side but sufficient. we had a family room, so two adjoining rooms which were quite nice for our family of 4. The hotel is in the city with not much for a view, we were on a busy corner but were not distracted by noise at all.
Positive aspects: 1) Very good position. Close to public transportation, 15-20 minutes to The Old City Center and also to the Public Swimming Pool and a mall. 2) Big room and bathroom , very clean with superb view to the mountains. 3) Breakfast very tasty and also restaurant for dinner. I spent great dinner before New Year’s Eve. 4) Parking area inside the hotel’s courtyard. 5) SPA. Negative aspects: 1) Parking area is not for free. In my reservation was mentioned 12 euro/ day but I paid 14 euro/day. Maybe management should reconsider. 2) The SpA area is not big and there was a spinning bike there that was not working. Maybe a fitness area will be possible to organise or at least a treadmill and some weights. 3) Sometimes the behaviour of one receptionist would be revised and discussed concerning the information provided ( e.g. Availability of free tables for dinner denied but the other receptionist was kind enough to make available a table with few hours before New Year dinner. ) Conclusion: Nice hotel with good added value for a business trip or holiday. Good food and generally pleasant atmosphere.
Considering Innsbruck hotels scenario, this is a good hotel but not a 4stars. Apart from this they have amazing breakfast, rooms are clean and nice. Staff is nice and the atmosphere is cozy enough. It is close to the station and 15min walk to the centre. Location is good and quiet. They also have sauna for free. I would not give them 5 stars because (up to me) it is a 3star hotel and it was way too hot in the rooms.
Spend a week here in May 2017. Great hotel!! I was travelling with my wife and our two boys. The hotel gave us a 2 room suites with 2 bathrooms and a walk out balcony!! The room felt like a flat rather than a hotel room. The room was clean and very spacious. The staff at the front reception were friendly and helpful. The hotel was within walking distance to the train station, the old town and the nordkette tram ride. Breakfast was included and I have to say they serve the best breakfast of any hotel I have ever been to. Fresh salmon, ham, other meats, fruits, freshly squeeze orange juice, coffee, and made to order omelette and French toast. The main restaurant served dinner at an afforable price. The Wiener Schnitzel, potatoes and berry sauce were delicious. We are from Canada and we were far from home, and yet this hotel made us feel 'home away from home'. Thank you. Highly recommended.
Our family of four recently stayed at the hotel. The hotel is very clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful and were able to help us connect us with a local ski school and ski hire shop. Breakfast was great with lots of options from both buffet and freshly cooked items like pancakes, eggs and bacon etc. Shower and bathroom were great. Hotel is a short walk from the train station and about 10min walk from old centre which is gorgeous. Internet worked very well. Would definitely stay here again.
Despite arriving early, our rooms were ready and we were able to settle in swiftly. The hotel is perfectly placed at only a 10/15 minute walk away from the city centre and we appreciated being away from the hubbub. Our room was very comfortable and warm with tea and coffee making facilities if we needed them. A little street noise, but easily muffled by the double-glazing in the windows. Breakfast was extensive, with both continental buffet and cooked options - with fresh coffee and prosecco, as well as freshly squeezed orange juice. We'd definitely stay here again if we were to return to Innsbruck.
We stayed here with friends for a weekend in Innsbruck. The hotel is around 10 minutes walk from the city centre. The rooms are very nice and the breakfast selection was good. We were made to feel very welcome and could leave our bags here on the Sunday before our flights. We would certainly recommend this hotel
