It was okay

This hotel is okay. We stayed here for one night to go to the casino. It needs update real bad. Our room had white patches on the wall where they are maybe trying to fix the walls but hadn’t painted yet. The furniture in the breakfast area is old and some of it doesn’t match. What I did love about this place was the lady at the front desk was nice and funny. I received text messages for a pre-check-in so you didn’t have to do it at the desk and then also for checkout. There are three hotels in that area and I would say if the others were sold out I would stay here again but if not I would stay at the Eco Lodge across the street.

Not worth the money paid

For the money charged, the room was absolutely not worth it. I liked the fact that it had 3 full beds, but that was the end of my likes. The toilet handle was broken. The fridge didn’t work properly, as well as it still had food in the freezer portion. The tv would turn on, but nothing further happened. The heat was off and it was below freezing upon arrival. When I turned it on, and set it at 65, it set off the smoke detector and caused an odor. The room was outdated, which was okay, but I paid to have a modern room. As advertised for breakfast, my girls wanted pancakes and hot chocolate, which there were none of either. And we ate at 7 am, so it wasn’t as if they ran out already.

The whole hotel smelled like smoke. Our room smelled even worse when we opened the door. It was clean but not did feel clean. It is dated and has a run down feel. We ended up leaving and staying elsewhere. Staff was nice - no issues there.

The service was ok. The room could use some work. The bathroom had a hole in the ceiling. The room smell like cigarette smoke. The door had been damaged, didn't leave a safe feeling. Bed spread had holes where it was burnt by cigarette. Needs some work.

At least we didn't get bugs

To start with the price definitely reflected the hotel. Old facility they are trying to make some changes and make some things nicer but it is what it is. A very shady element seem to be staying at this hotel I would not rephrase this as family-friendly.
