I can't say enough about how good the staff was here at the Holiday Inn Express near the Indianapolis Airport. I was quickly directed to my room upon check-in and received great recommendations on places to eat. I chose the Coachman- a local family owned restaurant according to the staff's suggestion. I also received a 10% off coupon to encourage me to dine there. Shane, the airport shuttle operator offered to drive me over to dine that evening. The hotel was everything that I'd expect from IHG properties. I did note some wear on the furniture, but this was normal and not due to neglect. The property was clean and smelled fresh. The linens were in great shape and I slept well. Overall this was a great experience!
This place is in dire need of renovations. The rooms, lobby hallways are old and kind of rundown looking. The furniture is old everything. As far as a Holiday inn standard this does not meet it. The TV never tuned into many channels had CBS and HBO only Again I love Holiday Inn express hotels and even with a good staff this place does not measure up. Feels like an old hotel that a bunch of construction guys would stay at just run down
This is a very nice property. I was there for business, so I cannot comment on the pool or other amenities. The room was nice with a king bed and pullout sofa. The bed was a little firm for my taste, but that is a matter of personal preference. The staff was great and I certainly utilized the small refrigerator and microwave in the room. Water pressure was excellent and housekeeping was great. Breakfast was standard Holiday Inn Express fare. All in all very strongly recommended.
Stayed there this past weekend. We finally had two rooms but part of our party had to cancel due to medical issues. The hotel staff was great at taking care of it all though, we expected to be dealing with issues after a 10 hour drive but was pleasantly surprised at no issues at all. Hotel itself is nice, nothing fancy, but clean big room, nice bed, good staff. Great local as far as next to several restaurants in walking distance and close to interstate.
This place was mediocre at best. The freeway facing room was inadequately insulated from the road and aircraft noise. The carpet was dirty and badly stained. Ugg! Bed Cleanliness was ok and the breakfast was ok, otherwise one star. Not worth the price.
Had a one-night stop-over - arrived late, left early. Airport transfers worked well. Staff were responsive to email requests. Not the brightest welcome on reception. Rooms were large. All up, a pleasant stay. I have nothing against the hotel, it's an IHG Branded Hotel but it does not have the usual IHG wow impact factor.... never received the customary IHG Gold member welcome.
My dad and I spent Labor Day weekend at this hotel while attending the U.S. Nationals NHRA race. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff (Lori, Larry, Brandy and Ryan) were courteous and took care of any needs that we had (extra towels, toiletries, etc). The breakfast area was large and well stocked. Caitie, the hotel manager, went above and beyond in making sure our reservation was accurate and that we could use reward points for our stay. We had originally been told by IHG that this wasn't possible, but Caitie went the extra mile and made sure that we could. Will definitely use this hotel again for future race weekend travels!
This hotel was clean and well maintained, but showing it's age. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was nicely sized with a good shower. There is no fitness center, although there is an outdoor pool. The WiFi was good. The highway noise was very intrusive, making it difficult to sleep.
We had a king room with a sleeper sofa. The king bed was very uncomfortable, and the sleeper sofa not much better. The furniture was very worn in the room. Breakfast was good, and the wifi worked well.
We stopped here late in search of a pet friendly hotel. There are a ton of hotels at this exit but we chose this one bc of the high reviews. Pros: -plenty of food choices nearby (walkable to Cracker Barrel & Steak n Shake) & even a winery -nice outdoor area for walking dog -small outdoor pool -comfy bed and pillows -bath, bath works toiletries Cons: -keurig coffee maker broken in my room -edges of room & elevator were pretty gross I'd stay here again.
