Our room was non smoking and smelled like cigarettes! The bathroom was so small you could barely shut the door while in there

When I checked in, I was given a room. When I got to said room, there were people inside. When I went to the from desk, she asked me to hold on a moment and she went to check it out. She returned and said, “ we have someone here who doesn’t do what he’s supposed to. You’d think if he was bringing a friend, he would warn me so I wouldn’t give the room away.” This was a bad start. I got a new room. When I got to my room later that night, I noticed it was an adjoining room and there was a table pushed slightly in front of the door. I figured I would check and make sure the door was locked. Much to my surprise, the door wouldn’t lock. I felt it was too late to go complain so I simply pushed the table in front of the door and went to bed. I was highly disappointed in my experience. I will not be staying there again and I will encourage others considering it to go somewhere else.

For our particular weekend stay, which may not be the case every weekend; there were some questionable "residents," taking advantage of the pool. I highly doubt half of them had a room, but were grilling outside and coming into the pool with drinks and food through the side door. Brilliant idea, they would simply knock on the pool door and be let in by someone who knew no better.

Don’t like it

Was Given a Room to a used room and walked in to a room where someone was showering, went back to front desk and then was almost given a second occupied rood. the clerk had to call the room to see if it was empty. upon checking the 3rd room it was empty but we slept with all the locks on in fear of being walked in on.

I got the suite with a Jacuzzi and it was a blast and super close the the venue for the event that we were attending.

The only good thing was the cleanliness of the room

The property looked pretty worn. First room they gave us had the ceiling unfinished and some ceiling debris on floor. Ceiling Sheetrock needed to be finished from previous leak. Also it was obvious that the room was not cleaned very well because the side table and phone were all sticky from a soda or something being spilled. Second room was better but not real clean. Curtain was broken and let outside light in. Cold air came through outer wall under heater. Heater made very loud noises like water was shooting through it. I asked the lady at the front desk if that was normal and she said it was normal. The maids dropped off towels one day but did not empty our trash. My husband tried to find somewhere to put our trash and said he found that there was one big trash can but it was overfilled. I asked why they did not empty our trash and she said they have been short staffed. The last day we were there, I asked the front desk for sugar and the guy said they only had what was on the coffee table and he would not move from his spot to help us. Looks like this Joel could use better management.
