Check in was pleasant. Needed extra pillows and they were delivered. Sink was plugged almost solid, shower spewed water from top of nozzle, outlet near bed didn't work and a board stuck out of the side of the bed, tripped my husband and left a large bruise on his calf. Everything was badly warn or not working properly.

This hotel advertised a pool - no water. Advertised WiFi and after 45 minutes gave up trying to make it work (the only good thing was the effort put into trying). The sheets had cigarette burns in them, the blankets were frayed on all edges (I would not use them for my dog). I had serious concerns about walking barefoot on the carpets - so we didn't). In short this was among the worst hotels we have ever stayed in and to be honest the health authorities should be contacted.

Can't get a better price! Yes this hotel is ran down but the room is clean, staff is friendly and well we just needed a clean bed to sleep in for a few hours. I'd stay again. Don't expect any amenities nor the comforts of a nice hotel, but if you want a clean bed on your way passing through this works. Don't be scared at other reviews, they should have paid more and stayed at a place rated higher. Bed was comfy, room clean, hot water for shower and even provided soap and shampoo. Again for the price can't go wrong. Oh check out DJ Dale next store ;) They have quiet the nightlife at this little place,

Granted I did search for the cheapest hotel in town. But the room was one of the worst I have visited. Outlets though plenty which is unusual in older hotels didn't work. AC was shoddy. Bed was to hard. Shower was real nice. Breakfast was lame with no napkins. Overall one of the worst hotels I have visited.

Very easy to arrive. The surroundings are very good.

Dirty small room. Old tv and bumpy bed. No amenities. Pool hasnt been cleaned in such a long time, looked like green slime.

Towels were stain and dirty looking, besides that I would stay there again

This place shouldn't even be on the list of possibilities. It looked a bit run down from the outside and is in an isolated part of town, but I was willing to give it a try. After we checked in, we headed to the room The hallway reeked of heavy smoke and we were anxious about leaving our car in the parking lot with our bikes. After dinner at a nearby dive, we decided to cut our losses and stayed somewhere else in Idaho Falls. We were watching the news on TV and saw that the Pinecrest Inn had been raided in connection with a manhunt for a murderer! I am not making any of this up. The photo of the "hotel" is of the park across the street.

the room was old and run down but it was clean for the most part. the area was bad and there were a lot of sketchy people loitering or sitting in thier cars in the parking lot at midnight.

Dingy and dirty place. Threadbare carpets. Smoke-stained lamp shades. Gray sheets on the bed. Ancient TV set from the 80s.

The online site shows a beautiful picture of the room in this place. How utterly misleading it is to assume thats what you will get. After driving 12 hours, we pulled into the parking lot and immediately got that sinking feeling.,when I saw no cars there and a really run down looking place. The parking lot was full of cigarette butts . I thought a simple leaf blower would help blow them away from the building. Inside, I got really grossed out at the room. The smell was like walking into a run down thrift store. The peel and stick tiles in the bathroom were thrown down so poorly, I felt uncomfortable walking in there without shoes. My wife swears the sheets werent changed from the last people. I saw 2 red droplet spray patterns on the ceiling and wall that were never cleaned from who knows when. When I went to look at the pool, the sliding glass door you go through to get to the pool looked like some dog drooled all over it 6 months ago, and it had hardened permanently. My kid refused to go into the pool, because of the really unusual color. of the water. I was curious why I was the only one there,so I drove around the place ,and on the other side the parking lot is full of delapidated vehicles. Evidently half of the motel is cheap monthly rentals. Go there at your peril. I almost asked for my money back, but was tired after driving 12 hours.

The hotel was clean but dated. it was an okay value.

Does NOT look like the pictures!!! Filthy, broken down, old bldg that hasn't had care in a long time. VERY dissatisfied with the price and room!!! Would have cancelled the reservation but didn't want to lose our money. Parking lot had glass in it, unsavory ppl hanging around. Door had a gap so you could see out. Spa not working. Lousy beds. Breakfast generic. Wouldn't even give us a receipt when checking out. TERRIBLE place!!!

the building is old but the rooms were decent, easy freeweay off and on location, nice back yard with sliding glass door that opens to the yard on back side rooms. The bed wasnt super comfy but it was clean enough.

We stayed for one night. The rooms were older, however it was very clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and the complementary breakfast was simple but fresh. They also had the fastest wireless internet I've ever gotten from a hotel. In terms of value- you can't beat it!

So my friend and I stayed in Pinecrest Inn for just one night. It was cheap but kind of dirty. The room smelled like it was a smoking/animal friendly room, which we did not want. It did have free wifi and was close to town, but didn't feel like it was in the best part of town. It just didn't feel very clean and it was smelly.

The staff were very friendly and helpful but for the price I would've hoped for at least a clean room. The bathroom was filthy! My husband and I along with our two young children were on a long road trip back home from Ca. and after being in the car all day, would have loved a shower. But the tub was covered in body hair. It had obviously not been cleaned since the last guest. It was not like one or two hairs(which would have been gross none the less) but it looked like a large hairy man shaved his back in there!!! It goes without saying that we did not get a shower that night. The bed was very comfy though. And the sheets were clean.

My overall experience was pleasant. The rooms are a little outdated but clean. All of the amenities met my needs. The staff was very nice and helpful. A good price was very reasonable considering the other local hotel prices. I would recomend this hotel to friends and family.

The hotel staff was very friendly. This hotel is still decorated from the 60's. The room was clean but the hallway carpet was dirty. The breakfast was a little skimpy. Overall if your looking for a bargain this is one to consider.

The room was old and so was the hotel. There was part of the ceiling hanging down. The back door to our room was broken- luckily the entertainment center was broken so we were able to wedge that piece of wood in the door to keep it shut. The TV didn't work so we called the front desk- they couldn't find their maintenance man. I call again 20 minutes later- they sent a guy up- he messed with the TV for another 20 minutes but was still not able to get it to work. He said he would talk to the front desk and be right back- I waited for another 20 minutes and finally went to the front office. I talked with the front desk and was told that the guy they sent up wasn't their maintenance man- that it was one of her friends and that their maintenance man was also in charge of the bar next door and couldn't leave. I had asked to change rooms but there were no rooms available and it was already 11:15 PM. This whole process had taken about 2 hours or so. I was just tired so I just went to my room and went to bed. In the morning I talked to the front desk again asking if I could talk to the manager but they were not on duty and could not be contacted unless I came back into the hotel at 3:30 PM later that day. We were on the road traveling so there was no way I could hang around most of the day for their manager to come in. This hotel was very bad- the beds were comfortable and clean but everything else was very bad. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
