We stayed here last year and loved it. The staff are lovely. The rooms are clean and it's near to all the amenities in San Antonio Bay. The beauty of being in the Bay is when you've finished partying in San An or Various clubs. You can get to sleep in a slightly quieter part of San An. Would definitely go back there.
We stayed for 7 days and it was gradually getting more lively as most places are not open until end of April. Although there are still plenty of bars and restaurants open now. To be honest it was nice that it was not that busy yet and the staff at the hotel are all really helpful. There is a supermarket literally a minute walk from the hotel reasonable prices, not that the hotel is expensive. We had a 2 bed apartment with fridge and a hob and microwave, cleanliness was good and size was big. Only Spanish channels on the TV though. But for price this is good value, nicely not in the full madness of San Antonio more families around this part.
We moved to Blue Star after leaving our previous apartments as they were awful (San Antonio Beach). We were met by Gabi who was lovely, very helpful in showing us an apartment before we paid and was very helpful during our stay. We found all staff lovely but took a shine to Gabi as she was so lovely in our hour of need. The apartments are spotlessly clean and a decent size. Decent shower though it was not easy to regulate the temperature of it. Clean towels every 2nd day. We didn't get clean sheets but only being there a week this was not a problem. The only thing We felt was lacking was another mirror in the apartment as there was only one in the bathroom and being an all female party we were fighting for its use 😂 The pool area has three pools and was lovely to sit and relax at during the day. It's a bit of a walk to some of the shops but has a decent sized supermarket across the road. Being April it was very quiet and a lot of the restaurants were shut but we walked along to Johny's Bar a few times where the food was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. We also walked along to San Antonio a few times where we watched the sunset a few nights and ate round in the town. We would definitely return to the Blue Star apartments, they saved our holiday. Thanks to all the staff.
Well, located a bit far from everything... If you do not mind, you can walk the nice 4,5 km. distance along the Bay to the Town center with all the bars and restaurants. The beach does not belong to the best in this world but I suspect, that they shall all be cleaned up, to welcome tourists in the peak season. My stay at Blue Star was very pleasant.. Very pleasant and helpful staff (Good looking too :-)). Only things missing are free WiFi and a few TV-Channells other than ONLY spanish ones.
Stayed here for a long weekend for the closing parties with a few friends ,, to be honest can not fault this place at all staff very friendly and helpful ,, very clean and tidy descent price cannot complain at all I'd definitely stay here again ,,, quiet part of the area if you like to get some piece
First we had a room which was on the street side and it was impossible to sleep. Too noisy because we had to sleep with open doors as it was too hot. But actually who comes to Ibiza to sleep at night ? Then we asked to have another room, which was near the swimming pool. It was magic ! Not only it was not as hot as the first one but we did not hear any noise.
Ok, I wouldn't rate it 0 stars as the staff was kind and helpful, however: - if you want to watch the jurassic TV you need to RENT the remote and PAY A DEPOSIT - do you need the safe? Well for the key is the same policy than above - The curtain in the toilet smelled like a rotten corpse and there was a loose screw that almost wounded a friend of ours... The staff told us they couldn't fix it as they were closing and no more maintenence was scheduled. - One of the managers parked his car closing the way out of the parking and took 15 minutes to let us out. - the cleaners mopped the flooring but they forgot to rearrange the bed linen... EVERY DAY!
I've just returned from a lovely at Apartments Blue Star. The apartment was very clean, spacious and had a lovely big balcony overlooking the pool area. The staff at this hotel cannot do enough for you. Gabi who works on reception will do anything she can to help you and Dagmar at the bar and restaurant always greets you with a smile. They are both completely lovely and I had a good few nice chats with them. The other staff who's names I didn't catch are just as helpful. The hotel is located in a lively part of San Antonio bay. If you're looking to escape the full on madness of The West End this hotel is ideal. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. I can recommend Boucala restaurant which is just across the road. The food and staff there are lovely. I can not wait until I can book these apartments again. I will definitely be returning!
Went here for a weeks holiday from 14th-21st September. On arrival at the apartment I could see that the apartment block was cleaned on a regular basis, the hotel staff were warm and welcoming. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, which was clean and very basic. There is 2 pools at this apartment, unfortunately, only a small area of the pool area gets sun throughout the day which is a bit on the downside for the sun worshippers like myself. The sun loungers at the pool area have to be the worse sun loungers I have ever seen/used,every single one of them was cracked, which meant when you lay down on them on top of your towel your towel jammed in the splits/cracks and was a struggle to free up your towel when you wanted to adjust/remove your towel. The pool bar/restaurant staff were experienced and professional at their job. A 5 euro deposit is also payable for the tv remote control, which is refundable on return, the channels are limited and the picture is very snowy. The tv is also of the type that was the "in thing" in the 80's. The surrounding area has some decent shops and bars and restaurants. I am aware that you get what you pay for, couldn't fault the cleanliness of the apartments which is must from my point of view when being on holiday, but, would I stay here again? Let's say that I would try somewhere else on my next visit to Ibiza. The pool area/furniture for me was the big let down.
We have just got home from our annual family holiday. There was 10 of us in our party with age ranges of 4 to 75. What a lovely time we had. The entertainment staff were great and our 4 year old fell in love with little Fee one of the entertainment staff. Fee worked tirelessly to ensure everyone enjoyed themselves (good luck in Lapland Fee little Lucie says hi). Reception were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The apartments were clean and tidy and there was always something I liked at mealtimes. The only criticism I would have is that of an evening 7pm opening for restaurant is a little late for the youngsters in our group to eat their evening meal and after the minidisco for the kids had finished at 9pm there was no real entertainment (the entertainment guys put on good shows but maybe s disco for the adults or even karaoke would have encouraged the adults to get up and boogie). All in all a great week in Ibiza!!
