It is a traditional stone made house situated at the beginning of the hill, only 7 minutes from the port. Relax in your own balcony with unlimited panoramic sea view. A fully equipped,in 3 levels, 150 sq. meters apartment in a quiet environment .
Accommodates up to 5 adults
To reach the stone made house requires to walk up about 50 stairs
It has independent entrance and private balcony with amazing sea view
It expands in three levels

1 Kitchen with fireplace , air condition and dining area

1 washing machine
Bathroom and washing machine are outside of the main house

Authentic Hydra experience.
As described in the listing this is an original Hydra house spread over 3 levels. Perfect in sunny weather as outside stairs are part of daily living. The upstairs bedroom and the outside terrace have spectacular views of the harbour.
The daily sound of the Clocktower bell, donkeys hooves and footsteps provide the rhythm of life.
The basics for cooking are provided and supermarket and restaurants are minutes away. Electrical appliances especially the stove need to be managed carefully to avoid blackouts, this adds to the experience.
Hydra has lots of walks. Swimming spots can be reached by boats or walking but you will need to hire towels as the house does not supply beach towels.
Hydra is a magical place and this house adds to that story.

Hydra with a view!
We loved our stay in this classic Hydrian house. The house is well positioned and not too steep a climb to get to the house from town. And you pass a well stocked supermarket and wine shop on your way home! The house has three levels. The top floor bedroom is huge with gorgeous views but be aware of the steep access stairs and that the bathroom is two flights of stairs down. Lovely large balcony with views across Hydra. Perfect for sundowners! Helena was quick to answer queries and easy to communicate with.

Séjour enchanteur à Hydra
La découverte de cette très belle île nous a enchantés. Nous avons bien apprécié l'arrière-saison en Méditerranée, la douceur du climat, la possibilité de se baigner jusqu'à fin octobre. Le village qui s'étale autour du port, avec ses maisons blanches, ses ruelles étroites nous a bien plu.Quant à la maison, ancienne et bien située, elle est pleine de charme.
