All of the reviews are accurate: it's quaint, it's close to the beach, and the inn keeper is a wonderful hostess. And it's dated, nothing has been or will be updated until it's broken, and yes i saw microbial growth around the ceiling and through the wall paper in ther bathroom. We dealt with it and left.
Please stay away. The owner admitted the mattresses are well over 10 years old. The smell is disgusting and the place was creepy. When I told the owner I was not going to stay because of the horrible dust (after about 2 hours of staying in the room off and on) the owner told me "if you have allergies you shouldn't leave your house!". That was the most abusive thing I have been told by a hotel owner in my life. It really needs to be shut down. It is beyond unhealthy.
The Inn was relaxing and quiet within walking distance to the beach. It had a warm feeling and enjoyable breakfast prepared by the Innkeeper. We received information on the area and suggestions for sight seeing that were helpful. It was just what we needed.
The host was very nice, fun to discuss activities on the Cape with and very hospitable.
A little run down but clean and comfortable, hence good value. Great landlady, who made all the difference!
Very small rooms, old bedding and tiny shower is what you get at Sea Breeze. Dont expect any luxury, the location is good, the breakfast is ok and the owner is very friendly. We stayed for three nights, it was comfortable but we did not spend a lot of time in the inn but were out all the time.
