Royal Star Empire Hotel3.0 out of 5.0

The Three Corners Empire Hotel is way below standard. Rooms shaby, dirty toilet/ shower, no soap, no hot water. This hotel has very few of the facilities listed. The Royal Star Beach hotel, is a walk away over two main roads and a far better hotel with lanscaped gardens, beach, entertainment, beauty treatments, water activities, hence the misleading reviews and photos of two different hotels. Empire hotel is in poor condition and location. Beach hotel better but my advice would be to pay a little more, go all inclusive and choose a hotel several miles down the coast if going to Hurgarda.
I had reserved two rooms in this hotel and I had to wait more than two hours in order to get them. Only after complaining with the director I obtained the best suits in the structure. The possibility of using the other resort which is on the seaside is very good.
Was here in November 2017 just for a short break and was not expecting any luxury from a 3 star hotel. But was from the very beginning pleasantly surprised by the willingness of personnel to do their best. Unfortunately don't know the name of the modest guy who unforseen did the cleaning every day, spotless and on the right time. Thank you. Also thank you to reception manager Mr. Mohamed Abdelwahab who always helped to solve any problem, gave attention to all guests and always had a smile on his face.
Its coming a little bit down. There is free save box&conditioner& ice box. Beach hotel breakfast was better than Triton Empire hotel. We eating outside Oskar restaurant, good food. People was very nice there and save place. Sun shine every day. Dont give euros coins there because they cant change that there, only paper money. Egypt people need tourist there. We see many countries people there example. English,Germany ... Next time other hotel...maybe...
Please Don't try to go ,, our stay was worst than bad , its horrible hotel very dirty rooms , bath room and shower will surprise you , food is less than 1 star hostels level and some items were roten , swimming pool very small and dirty water , it was very bad experience , we lost our holiday time , managers and staff from another planet .
I booked this hotel arriving Sep. Firstly it deceives guests by showing the sister hotel five mins walk to the Triton beach hotel. This is wrong for booking agent to allow this. Also you will see form both hotels that the photos are at least ten years old. Yes it may have been a good hotel then but now itsdisgusting. I arrived saw the place rooms and spoke with the manager. He obviolusly knows of the deception and said yes you can use the other hotel. This hotel like the Triton beach has had no investment for at least a decade. I left and went to the Triton beach so please see my review.....just the same disgusting filthy old which is and should be enough to stop Europeans booking. If you do decide to go you will regret you decision on arriving. The hotel is also in a run down part of the town and at least three miles away from where you need to be. This is a totally honest review fully honest so cancel if you are able to do so. Both hotels are displaying photos so old all you have to do is look at the dated swimwear. The truth is there. Please believe me the hotels are in a bad condition and this deception has to be stopped by the advertising agents. It's wrong but Egypt has different controls. Please read my review on the Triton beach hotel where we ended up for just four nights. That was too long.
It was a very nice place to stay and there staff were really great. I had my Family with me I found the rooms were very nice. The Gym was OK to use for a quick workout and the pool was nice. Overall I would stay here again if I ever came back to Egypt.
Feeling so sorry that this hotel is getting down terribly..... Staff off the restaurant was altough they where there not opening the restaurant on time just sitting there having things to do on the smartphone. .....when opened one off the restaurant staff was jumping the line or cooking his own omelet while the few geust where waiting..... Second day offmy stay no cups anymore but plastic bekers to drink your coféé.......... I told the managment but this was realy desapointing and i go there already 10 years but now thats it never again.
I am so so so so sorry I hadn't read other reviews before going to this holiday... -A little old TV with a really bad signal. -Broken air conditioner without a remote control. We had a truly bad sleep nights because of too much heat in the room. -Broken entrance card which I believe has never worked at all. -Terrible WI-FI signal in public area. -No water pressure in the shower. It felt like if I was a flower and I had to water myself with a glass of water. Besides, a few times there was no cold water and the hot water was boiling. Oh, once there was no water at all. -A squeaking bed even then when you only want to put your pillow in the comfortable position. Also, creaking cornice. -We had one face towel for two people. -Our room has been cleaned once during 8 days and ONLY THEN when we asked for it. Also, our friends had to ask for toilet paper in the reception as the room service never left a full roll of it. Only leftovers. And they were given one half-full roll right here in the reception. Very helpful. -There are 3 sockets in the room. One of them in the bathroom other two are for the fridge and the TV. If you have 2 cell phones...you understand. -Something mystic about the elevator. We barely used it when getting down from 5th floor as it hardly ever stops at 5th floor though the indicator above the elevator shows that it's here. -The food is always the same. And don't be late as it ends very fast. -Evening shows are only for the local's taste. Once, I heard a foreign song. Besides, the rooms has no sound isolation. -Final BOOM: our toilet tank broke. And, when we opened it, we saw that it was already repaired with lots of wires before. And before. And before. -Oh really, there's also a grainy glass window in the bathroom straight to corridor. At least 60*40 cm. -Funny thing: there is a bench in the room with a big holes cut out so you could't sit on it. And there are faded posters in the public area with an old information. +The kitchen staff was sincerely nice people.
Very enjoyable stay. Good location and services. The hotel was reasonably priced and had no issues to detract from my stay. The beach front was several minutes walk and was very clean. Look forward to staying again
