great hotel, friendly staff and excellent service. Was here with my wife and two boys for one week and we had a great time. as a SPG Platinum i was greated very well and got a suite upgrade already prepared at check-in. Room was really nice! if i should complain about something it was that the CLub Lounge was pretty small, so even if hotel was not fully occuipied the lounge was pretty busy.
I stayed in this beautiful resort for 2 nights (1st & 2nd Oct 2017) with my husband and 2.5 year old toddler. All of us had a blast. Starting from the rooms (very spacious), food, service, the hotel environment, location everything was Superb. The Kids Club was very good for my daughter, she didnt want to come back from there to the room. The A/C wasnt working properly at first but then after complaining it was fixed. The beach is so close the resort (just a few steps down) We all had a blast. Sheraton is a place for both family or friends or couples. Will definitely come here again!
Another family hotel indeed. We were upgraded to the pool access room. It quite spacious for us- family of 4. My 2 girls were all Gaga over the kids club facilities! Unfortunately they don't let us leave the kids there as most of the hotel kids club does. Adult has to be there with the kids, which a downside for us parents. (We usually leave our kids for activities at kids club while we can enjoy our quiet time by the pool) The food was great tho! Would definitely stay here again next time!
We have visited this hotel a number of times over the past four years. The service and food has always been good, but this trip has seen an increased level of interaction from the staff which helped us feel at home. Congratulations to Bruce the new GM for making this hotel better than ever!
Average, avoidable, look elsewhere for a much better HOLIDAY experience in Hua Hin. Wouldn't recommend for any sort of vacationers. Probably better for short stay, big events and business visits. The good: - Great breakfast buffet, with hospitable staff. - Huge and very well maintained pool. - Bed and pillows were soft, fresh, comfortable. The bad: - ATROCIOUS, pathetic Taxi and shuttle service- the taxi took more than 25 minutes to arrive and shuttle can only occupy 11 people with very few times for a hotel with around 250 rooms. Front desk, was least bothered, even after persistence. - The quality of the room is BELOW STANDARDS: Faucets, doors, etc are old, of bad quality, hard to operate. The rooms are show their age. - Communication: the house keeping service was very poor- they came in, while we were in the bathroom. Although I clearly stated not to come. Simply UNACCEPTABLE. - NO PROPER BEACH: Short and small actual beach area, which is poorly maintained and smelly.
We stayed there from 15-17 October,2017 room is really nice , well equipped, good amenities, staff are wonderful and very helpful and speak good English which is a plus in Thailand, beach not accessible for swimming, swimming pool is more than amazing, being an SPG Gold member they upgraded us to pool view room. We didn't try their food because somehow expensive, paid shuttle bus to down town but cheaper than taking a private taxi and only 15 minutes away from down town. Very relaxing hotel and worth money.
Great service from all the staff. Staff responsiveness was quick and the employees made you feel welcomed the entire stay. Special kudos and thanks to Mrs. Phatcharawalai Jankaew (Khun Naam), the VIP and Guest Service Leader who gives exceptional services. Pool is just amazing! Good club lounge for Platinum members and generous upgrades are given. Great SPG recognition. The beautiful breakfast buffet was a great way to begin the day. I will definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for exceptional services in Hua Hin.
We stayed 2 nights for anniversary and have memorable experience here. The staff are very friendly and thoughtful. As a platinum member, we are upgraded to lagoon access suite with breakfast complimentary, they are very generous to SPG member. I'd like to express my gratitude to the VIP guest team, especially Khun Naam for the special romantic decoration in the room. Even there are other new resorts have latest hardware or new design, however the warm service here keep Sheraton as best resort in Hua Hin as always. If you are still looking for the Resort in Huahin, just choose here, you won't regret.
I have had written a few reviews about this property. After a few short stay recently, let me update my recent experience. Pros : -Breakfast - always the best in town in term of food quality , selection and taste. Special thanks to F&B manager and her great team that always go extra miles to make my breakfast experience as pleasant as possible. -Club lounge / spg status recognition - very generous upgrade for SPG elite members . Although the current club lounge has very limited seatings and uninspiring decoration , yet for Marriott/SPG members, this is the only property in this area offers club lounge access for their platinum elite members. Plus, the VIP leader Khun Namm is always there to offer her warmest service. -Pool - the lagoon pool is surely the best in hua hin/ cha am even comparing to the newly built Marriott hua hin -Fitness center : spacious and well equipped with sauna and steam room. -Room rate: very attractive room rate all year round Cons: -Room condition : wear and tear furniture , noisy air-conditioner in bed room. although the rooms are very functional and spacious -Hotel grounds : need severe upkeep -Location: a bit out of activities On a separate note about wedding events that many guests concern. To be honest, since this hotel has targeted itself as a wedding / event venue hotel, it is not surprise the inconvenience may caused during those events. I do give credit to the hotel that announces these events dates in its website in advance to avoid the disappointment and frustration from the guests. I had a few bookings that were coincident with those wedding events, and the reservation team was happy to change my booking. Recently, Marriott finally had a new GM, Mr Bruce Dupuis to manage this dated property. I had a few short conversations with him; during recent short stays I have witnessed the positive changes are underway. hopefully the Marriott/Sheraton standard will be reimplemented soon. And another great thing is club lounge will be resigned and opened in October ( hopefully ) , cant wait to experience it and make my stay longer.
What an amazing place starting from services passing by the most professional staff ! Food is you feel like homemade .. The management really knows how to choose the staff, train them well and their priority is THE GEUST .. Really thank you for this hospitality sure I recomend it and no words I WILL visit again soon
