We check in on 2nd May and check out on 3rd May 2017.  This is the lousiest hotel swimming pool I have ever been to.  I call front desk three times on 2nd to express my dissatisfaction with the pool and all i get is we will inform the enginners etc...They did not clean the pool.  The following day they came to clean at 10am but we are about to leave.  I feel rip off cuz we wanted to relax N use the pool for privacy but instead we keep complaining to no avail.  This is the first time and last time i will be staying @ this Banyan Resort Hotel Hua Hin. We are completely dissatisfied with it.

Wife and I been travelling around KL, Singapore, Bangkok and therefore needed a rest and saw this hotel. Didn't realise it was a little bit out of town... but actually prefer it! Arrived by taxi and were created by reception who took our luggage ... very friendly and helpful and every encounter since has been exemplary. We went by golf buggy to the room and were shown a couple of choices but went with their first choice. We were shown around the villa and how things worked. All is lovely and clean and spacious. Mini bar is cheap 60p for soft drinks and £1.50-2 for a beer ... wine is more. Few snacks etc all good value. Room service is brilliant and think it comes from their Coral restaurant. £15 for two meals 👍🏻 The pool is very clean and lovely temp obviously due to the climate ... to be honest so far we haven't seen anyone else around ... feels like our own hotel lol Went to coral for dinner and wasn't expecting much but the food was fantastic and approximately £50 for 2 inc drinks. Def. worth a visit... All in all very happy and would recommend anyone to stay. Enjoy!!

This is our second stay at the Banyan and our favourite place to stay when in Hua Hin. We love the location slightly out of the main bustle of town but still only ten minutes away from the shopping centres, night markets and the beach. The villas are fantastic value for money, so much space all to yourselves set in their own gardens. We always choose the whirlpool villas, which although share the lagoon pools- we always seem to have the whole pool to ourselves. The breakfast is great, and the egg chef was fab. Absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to go back!!

Stayed here for a week. Beautiful villas, very large. Could have done with chopping board and bread knife etc. in kitchen. Stepped outside on the patio and straight into the long pool which was wonderful. Breakfast was generally very good. Staff very helpful and attentive. Would recommend this for families and couples. Only problem was out of Hua Hin therefore had to rely on shuttle bus from hotel or taxis. Would return

Wonderful villa,'and beautiful garden, and some have private pool! However not great dining facilities, best to dine out, about 20 minutes into town or Hua Hin and fab restaurants, markets , there is everything to suit your holiday budget!!

I want to start this of in a positive way, the resort is beautiful it really does have the wow factor. But what good is the wow factor when the staff don't back it up. One afternoon the cleaners had been in to clean the villa, they always left it clean and tidy. On this occasion we had been out in the pool and simply left them to do their job. Once they had finished we went back in got ready and went out. When arriving back later that night I noticed my medication wasn't on the bedside table ( I always have it on the bedside table so I remember to take it) my sister and boyfriend looked everywhere, even stripped the bed! It wasn't there! I called reception in a panic wondering if one of the cleaners had picked it up by mistake. The night manager came to see us and asked if he could look around, he did and obviously it wasn't there! Over the next few days we were subjected to many searches, but it obviously wasn't found!!! We where made to feel that we had done something wrong, in time they called the hospital and managed to track down some new medication for me. This was after pushing them to do so, we then spent the day in Bangkok hospital! Not once did any of the staff apologise for this! The lady manager just told me time and time again that it wasn't her fault, nor any of her staffs fault. They dismissed anything I had to say about the matter, and ended up being rather rude and dismissive towards us. They never even offered to pay for the travel to the hospital never mind the medical bill. In the End they paid the £5 taxi journey!! I was beyond disappointed, not about the money it was the level of service, a member of their staff either stolen or threw away my medication and they simply did not want to help at all other search our room over and over again! I work in customer service myself and I always go over and above for my clients, I feel that this should be standard. We had great expectations for this resort after seeing many great reviews. It's safe to say we will never return, or recommend this resort. Thank you Rachel

Having a good time with spacious room and pool access. Friendly staff and savory dishes. Everything was OK except internet Wi-Fi. This place is best for family or group of friends. If you are looking for meeting rooms or banquet venue, this is one of your choice.

We stayed in a 2 bed villa with jacuzzi, for less than 100euro per night. The accommodation is great, master bedroom and kids room each have ensuite shower rooms, and there is a large high ceilinged living dining space between the 2 bedrooms. There is a small kitchen which is fine for preparing breakfast or snacks and it has a large fridge. The setting is beautiful, each villa is in the middle of a well maintained garden. At the back of the house you have an outside shower that can be accessed from the master bathroom. The jacuzzi is not standalone, rather its your access to the long thin pool shared with the villas next to you and those that you back onto. Check it out on google map's satellite view or in the photos to get an idea. The pool is a well implemented concept, not totally private, but better than having a tiny private pool like some of the villas have. Regarding the negative comments I have seen on TripAdvisor, I can see where they are coming from, but there was nothing that would stop me giving this a top rating. The beds were firm, but good quality and many people like that. The outside shower was cold, but not colder than the pool. The water pressure in the inside shower wasn't great but still OK. The kids pool is really only worth it for very young kids, but you have the private pool for older kids anyway. The only thing that was really annoying was the WiFi quality in the villa. Its badly implemented with both software and hardware issues. The WiFi in the lobby is really good though, so if you have an emergency, you have a solution. Other notes: the staff really try hard and are well trained. The link to golf is tenuous. Room service breakfast is better value than buffet breakfast. The onsite cart service to the villas is nice, but no where is so far away to need it unless you have mobility issues or are bone idle. The shuttle service to town is good, but reception will order you a taxi for 250baht if you want to go at a different time. The Thai food in the restaurant and on room service is better than the western options.

As a family resort it ticks every box. Space, luxury and service. Our villa was on the communal winding pool and our kids loved it. The villas are perfect. The access to the pool is brilliant and if you went as a couple of families and all got ones near each other it wlike be fantastic fun. It is a bit out of the city centre, so limits your access if you don't bring your car. There are shuttles to the city but they are very limited. You can't walk easily. Around the resort, the tuk tuk picks you up and takes you around, saves tired legs! We booked the free shuttle into the clock tower to go to the night market (100baht foot rubs and pad see ew for 50baht - magnificent). Then got a local bus for 10baht to the cicada markets (a must - a beautiful but small market - totally different to the in town night market!) Got a taxi back to the resort for 200baht (reception had told us that was the going rate for city to resort). Breakfast at the resort was quite good - a good selection. Coffee - so so, what you would expect. The staff are very friendly. Would stay there again as a family, but if going without kids would pay a bit more and stay in the city so exploring is easier.

We visited in June 2015. Absolutely amazing Villas who wouldn't want your own pool! This place was a little too quiet for us so we went out most nights. Beautiful place that I would score highly for however we had money stolen directly from our locked safe which is just not acceptable. The manager did take out complaint on board and offered another free weekend but travelling from the uk we wouldn't be able to take her up on that offer. We wouldn't return.
