It was perfect for our family. The bedroom with two bed, huge closet and master bathroom but perfect for our married son and daughter in law and two granddaughters. It was almost like they had their own apartment. Another full bathroom and 1/2 bath. Large closets and luggage carriers in each room. Although it’s a great proximity to activities and restaurants downtown, the street was a little suspect. Just be aware, as you would anywhere. One story and no climbing stairs. Kitchen was stocked enough we were able to function with the cooking with did. Great Washer and dryer that helped with our six day stay. Excellent and almost immediate contact with the owner. And resolutions were immediate.

Rough neighborhood, front steps to the house are completely caved in, a window was held shut with coat hanger in one of the closets and a family of possums or raccoons were living in the attic and running back and forth on the ceilings all night. Unfortunate property that doesn’t match the photoshopped listing pictures at all.

Comfortable house, very spacious. The back yard area was nice w/ covered outdoor seating, games, and ample space. We're an 'on the go' type of family, so we didn't spend a ton of time in the house - but the kitchen was great/functional. The Fiesta grocery store across the street was amazing (Clean, tons of fresh food options like grab-n-go muffins/fruit/tamales, etc; very friendly staff!). Super easy to walk over and grab groceries. There is only 1 TV in the house, in the living room... so if you're a before-bed TV person, bring a tablet. Neighborhood seems to be undergoing gentrification - we felt safe enough, but it's still a 'be aware of your surroundings' vibe. Windows are very old, which is the only thing that made me feel a little uneasy at night, but all was fine. Great stay, great location - easy to get to multiple parts of Houston. We walked to White Oak Music Hall.

The house was a refreshing change from normalcy. The fun patterns and colors mixed with some classic older home styles was very nice! We couldn’t get the projector to work outside while there but was told a new remote was ordered, and the mattress in the bedroom by the dining room sunk in the middle. The location made it pretty easy and quick to get to most places!

Eventful weekend in Houston

First of all the host, Craig was especially responsive, helpful ,and kind would 100% recommend any listing he has.So I was in town with a few friends for an event and found this lovely place close to the downtown Houston. It’s not too far from interstates or from the main party areas but the surrounding road is a little bad so be mindful when you’re driving.The listing matches the property as in the vibrant & cute interior furniture match what is shown on the listing. In relation to the exterior, w All Nothing e came after or during a lot of rain so the insects were very present outside and the water puddles were in annoying places but that has nothing to do with the property but just an unfortunate reality. The neighborhood looks very typical inner city but the neighbors are nice and there aren’t any vagrants or night walkers so I would say it’s pretty safe. Every night

My stay was very pleasant. The space was very clean & so was the backyard which is PERFECT with family or any gatherings. Craig was very helpful & responsive. He was a great host & i will be booking again. If you are thinking about booking, DO IT. You won’t regret.

Beautiful house

We rented the house for a birthday party, and it was perfect! The house is beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The host was incredibly kind and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. Highly recommend!
