This property is a former Marriot Courtyard turned independent. The staff (especially Josh) were very helpful and welcoming. The rooms were clean and the price was very helpful for Houston. Pros: Very clean spacious room, wooden cabinets and headboard with a cold refrigerator. Quality bedding. Quality bathroom amenities and towels and great showerhead. Convenient and strong anti-slip handle in a small but adequate shower. Good coffee in the rooms. Front desk will provide more. The weather varied during our stay but the thermostat in the room was easy to adjust | the AC unit worked well and quickly on either cool and heat as needed. Fitness room was clean and stocked with towels. Cons: Beds were too soft.

No one at the front desk at check in. Waited at least 15 minutes to have someone finally check us in. Strong perfume smell throughout the hotel. Room quiet and bed comfortable, but we saw a few roaches on tables. There isn’t a sign outside for the hotel, so we almost passed by when we were trying to find it.
