My room was downgraded from double queens with sofa bed to king with sofa bed despite paying higher room rate through Orbitz. No other room was available. Asking us keep it or call Orbitz to cancel it. They offered Bonvoy point and night for compensation but none has been fulfilled after 12 days. No housekeeping service despite 5-night stay until we requested it. Overall, this is one of my worst experience with Marriott Hotel despite being Bonvoy silver/gold Elite member for more than 7 years. We were treated inferiorly when booking through 3rd party service, like Orbitz. I would need to think twice before future booking.
