Very good location. Being new to down town Houston, I stayed in the first night. Bistro was a disappointment. AM breakfast was good. Older location took some adjusting. That said, the gym was closed and I had a leak in my bathroom. The shower left a large puddle on the floor no matter what I did.
My sister stayed in this hotel. She mentioned it was a wonderful time, nice staff, beautiful hotel. Thanks a lot!
They messed up our room 3 times. We had to move 3 rooms because they checked us in as the wrong person. They didn’t try to accommodate us for their mistakes.

I liked that the hotel was close to the convention center and we could walk there. I had constant issues with a loud noise, during my visit. It sounded like someone was dropping a bowling ball on the floor. It happened almost every 30 minutes. I could never figure it out and it kept waking me up during the night.
I liked the location close to a lot of places but parking was only available at valet rate of 38$ a day. The morning we left we had to wait outside for over an hour for our vehicle. They lost the keys twice and we were so cold by the time they finally brought car around. Parking was expensive and inconvenient
I had called to have the name on the reservation changed to my son and apparently they didn’t do it so there was a little bit of trouble and I had called to ask if I could pre-pay for the hotel so that I could use my credit card because I wasn’t going to be able to make the trip and no one ever got back to me so my grown kids were just kind of down there struggling to get in the room because the name didn’t get changed on the reservation ....then after checking out someone had gone in the room and dumped out the trash and and scattered coffee grounds all over and charged my son a 300 smoking fee and no one smoked in the room there was a cigar wrapper in the trash can they someone had dumped out... will never book or stay with marriott again
Room is okay. Sort of small. The view of Main Street is nice do. you have to come prepared do. You are only paying for the room. You have to pay 35dlls for parking. There is no breakfast and you pretty much have to Uber/Lyft everywhere unless you want the homeless and gangsters hiring you up for cash or trying to sell you drugs.
The rates for parking was way to much. To me it’s seem parking to be sure be free if staying at your hotel
