My unit was as described, it was clean, easy to access, a nice large TV, nice shower, linens, large closet, a coffee pot, a small fridge and a microwave. I was alone, so I didn't mind the appliances were all located just feet from my bed. It indicated a laundry room however this unit did not have laundry. Maybe the front unit does, but I was not given directions how to find a laundry room. It was extremely hot in Houston the week I stayed. Luckily, there is a strong blowing ceiling fan because the thermostat read 80 degrees my first night and I reached out the next morning to the owner. I also suggested window blinds on the higher windows. There were blinds on the ground level and plenty of privacy. I had the thermostat setting at 70 but I never saw the temp drop, it wasn't addressed. Management indicated they got a message (from the owner). I blocked windows with pillows to keep the evening sun from aiming into the room through the sky windows. By night two, it was 76 degrees and tolerable with the strong blowing fan. It was fairly inexpensive to rent, close to my conference and was safe. I wasn't in the unit a lot so I could accept the room temperature issue overall. I only walked early in the morning during daylight and everything was fine. I saw a CVS on my walk to downtown but never went inside.
