Wonderful experience great customer service loved pool and barbecue facilities and also close to beach and cheese and crackers free with hula show Monday Wednesday and Friday it’s free!! Rooms clean very great place.

The location is excellent, with a bus stop just a short walk away. However, the room facilities are quite dated. The bathtub drain was clogged, so I had to stand in ankle-deep water and shower quickly before it overflowed. This issue really affected my experience.

Enjoyed our stay

This is a great hotel at a reasonable price. The room was spacious and came with a kitchenette, which was very convenient. From the front desk to housekeeping, the staff were all wonderful — any request we had was handled promptly. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, shopping areas, and food trucks. They also have a happy hour with good music, which we really enjoyed. This was our second time staying here, and we’ll definitely be coming back again.

Great location. The room was comfortable, love the balcony. The parking was great was really nice to have them park it and retrieve it each day for us great service!

The worse room that smelled like smoke

The air conditioner was not working and kept running and shutting off constantly. It was so difficult to sleep I had to put in ear plugs to sleep. The room smelled like smoke and was disgusting in the morning, and worse late in the evening after the the sun bake the building. The description stated "No Smoking" But it reeked of tobcacco! I can't believe they charge this much for this location. It's crazy! absolute crap!

The localization was very good, near the beach, restaurants an stores. The staff is very efficient and friendly. The bedroom was clean and organized . The kitchen was clean, organized and had all utensils available.

Awesome couple’s time

The location is great. We were close to a ton of dining and shopping options. Every evening when we came back to our room it had been serviced. We really enjoyed our stay at the Luana. The only con for us was the hotel is in desperate need of a refurbishment. This hotel really needs to be updated. For now, for us, it’s not a dealbreaker. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location. It’s nice that there’s not many hotels right by it so the view is wonderful. We stayed in a partial ocean view room. Hotel is old though, it’s okay as 3 star but if they want to be a 4+ star I feel that it needs upgrades. Towels were old and had stains on many of them so that made me feel grossed out. Staff were friendly and nice. Location was superb. Not in a busiest area but 7mins walk to the downtown core which was perfect. 24 mins walk to the Ala Moana Center which was great, too. Overall, fair pricing for the condition and I may stay for one night stay here and there but I’d rather stay somewhere a bit more cleaner if I have to stay more than a night.

Very convenient to public transportation, walking distance to the beach, and bear shopping. Rooms are old and there were cockroaches in both rooms we stayed.

Our stay included 20 family members and the overall experience was excellent. I initially thought that because there were so many of us that there would be issues, but that was not the case. Everyone told me that they would surely stay here again if given the opportunity.
