The room was clean. The view of Diamond Head was beautiful from the balcony. The beach was right in front of restaurant and was very nice. It was quieter and more calm than some. The valet was very friendly and helpful.

This is a wonderful hotel, located right on the beach, with excellent facilities and friendly service. I love the easy and pleasant walk to the downtown area of Waikiki overlooking the beach.

Our check in was disappointing. We had been offered an upgrade prior to the trip, and we accepted it. I was disappointed that not only were we not upgraded, we were put in the far less desirable wing of the hotel, named the Park (it isn't in any way a park). Our family has been staying at this hotel for years, but we are not acknowledged in any way nor has our loyalty been rewarded in any way since the change in ownership.

The location was my favorite part of our stay. We were close to Waikiki but set away from the noise and traffic. The room was a bit disappointing because we had a big building as our view (sliver of beach on one side, sliver of Diamond Head on the other) and the building’s air conditioning unit drowned out the sound of the ocean. Staff was very nice. Our bed was made wrong (wrong size bottom sheet kept coming undone) All in all, the hotel had a great, relaxed vibe.

It's not a hotel, it's a smelly motel. Rooms are super small and nasty (the smell is really bad). No microwave, no coffee machine, nothing in the room. You don't even get a water refill. They promise a bottle of Champaign at the point of booking, but we never got it. The beach in front of the hotel is dirty, city beach. You might read that the hotel provides beach chairs, but those chairs are a joke (not real sun beds) + you have to carry them yourself from the reception. Noone is there to help you. The restaurant is nice, but the hotel prioritizes outside guests, so you have no chance of getting a reservation (we tried daily and had to go eat outside of the hotel)

Was told someone would be at desk and get my vehicle which I payed for vallet even though I was leaving for my early plane ride. Waited at desk for approximately 15-20 minutes not a soul in site. Finally some kid named Dylan shows up and says “sorry my alarm didn’t go off” whatever that meant. Goes to get my vehicle and immediately returns with no car saying the key fob doesn’t work. I then grabbed the fob went to the car and surprise the car unlocked. Dylan had a poor attitude and could care less about the customer. Not a great look for the hotel.

The room was spacious, clean, had frig, great balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff is warm and welcoming. The only thing I wish it had was a microwave. The restaurant downstairs had great food. What was also great is that there was a convenient store also downstairs to buy whatever you needed and a coffee shop and spa. The beach was right outside too. The place was just perfect.
