It's obvious that the owner(s) worked to update the hotel. The room, however, was not fully updated. You can tell it's an OLD place. Everything we needed was available, but the $109 charge for amenities is steep for what is supplied. We did enjoy the balcony.

The room is big, clean and comfortable. All staff were very friendly. I would recommend the hotel to my friends.

Parking on premises was really appreciated. Also, staff was very prompt and courteous.

Like it nice clean great location and it was what we expected !

Excellent location great staff great value free parking ex

We stayed in Room 1401. The square footage is awesome. The view is spectacular - especially at night. The beds are comfortable. The location of the hotel is marvelous. We were happy guests.

Pros: location (short walk to Duke's Lane), free parking, kitchen, self-serve laundry with laundry basket, two suitcase holders, nice staff, good value. Cons: parking stalls small and too few, shower stream weak, air conditioner a bit loud, an "emergency" forced us out of bed and down seven flights of stairs at 3:00AM one night.

Close to everything, but quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was comfortable and kitchen was indespensible. Onsite parking was a huge plus. Since our stay was lengthy, the laundry was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Nice hotel, big comfy room, staff were ok, didn’t get a parking spot one night so that was a bummer.

Good value for money. Great staff. Free parking which is a bonus in Waikiki.

Very nice budget hotel close to everything in Waikiki including Dukes groceriesand . Room was very clean, comfortable, and large. Staff very friendly and helpful. No bugs or odors. Had no problems finding onsite parking but recommend renting small compact car to fit in Honolulus small parking stalls. Definitely not a luxury hotel but perfect cost to quality balance for a budget minded traveler.

Nice clean rooms, the staff was outstanding doing anything and everything to make our stay memorable. The hotel is in walking distance to Waikiki beach and other tourist spots such as the International Market

I felt i didn’t get the courtesy that should be given to locals. At least a discount for the roll away bed would’ve been nice since I didn’t get a local discount on room. The women staff were pleasant but the male who checked me in who is not a local could have been more courteous. He even questioned our group of young people who came in late one night if they really had a room there. Overall it was ok to good.

Overall it was an ok stay. Hotel has easy access to lots of food, shopping and only 10 min walk to the beach. Room is old. The wallpaper in the bedrooms were peeling off. Tub, sink and kitchenette were worn out. The hotel located right next to a bar so there are some shady people. Staff were extremely friendly. In general, it was an ok stay.

The hotel is located at one of the best location in Waikiki. Our room is located on the sixth floor looking out to the Ala Wai Canal and Gold Course. The view is perfect. Waikiki beach is within 10 minutes walk. All kind of shopping and restaurants are a block away. International Market Place is a good place to visit. Parking is free. We stayed for 12 days and had no problems finding a parking spot. The full kitchen in the room is so convenient. We were able to do some cooking for dinner. If you don't mind the room is not brand new but everything is clean and works well then this is the place to stay. We will stay at this place again.

Very old hotel, they have not renovated for a long time. room smells bad.

Not enough parking. Room was old. Like early 80s. Smelled old. Mildew in the tub. This is only an upgrade from Motel 8. Kinda reminds me of an Army billet for transient Soldiers. Not many hotels will have a hot water heater in the closet.

Woke up at 4:40 AM by the garbage truck emptying dumpsters right next door. Also there is a whiskey tango bar one door down and the drunks outside smoking cigarettes and yelling until 1 in the morning. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are trying to get a restful sleep. The rooms are old and need a remodel.
