Front desk was often rude, very short and pointed with their responses, and I called twice (prior to arriving on the island) and visited the front desk to request a pre-authorization form. The two phone calls, I was promised an email, never received. The first time I went in, gave the front desk person the email for it to be sent. She was EXTREMELY rude and insisted it would be sent, never received. Second time I went in I tried to ask again and she (same person) rudely explained that “we have the card on file when you booked so that’s all you need”…weird, because every other hotel requires it since it was for 5 rooms. I couldn’t even change the names on the rooms because “she was busy”… The overall experience sucked and I’ll probably not use that property again for anything!

I went into this reservation with low expectations cause previous reviews have been so bad. Overall, it was fine, but the staff at the front desk did seem not overly excited to help anybody. We had to wait two hours to check in when we got there because something was wrong with the “system“. We were put in the second tower, which only had one elevator and so there was always a long wait for the elevator, which was sometimes inconvenient. Our room was fine. We had to ask for bedding for the sofa bed and that took a while to come at night. The bathroom was a really strange design. There’s no barrier between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, so the floor is always really wet. Also, there’s basically only the basin and a small counter around that with three people sharing a bathroom. It was difficult to find room to put everything. The laundry machines weren’t working and no one could ever pick up the phone at the front desk and there was always a long line, but it did eventually get fixed since we were counting on washing clothes while we were there because my son was in a sports tournament all weekend. Overall, it was, I would say very average and nothing like a typical Marriott courtyard stay and certainly didn’t seem worthy of the Bonvoy brand.

Overall very good hotel and stay, great location perfect for families or those on vacation. Lotta costs but comes with the territory since it’s Hawaii resort costs parking etc can’t really blame the hotel comes with travel to Hawaii similar to Vegas. They make all their money off travel tourism etc but loved our room, the pool, service etc there was a piece of gum on our carpet when we got in that’s the only thing I can point at that wasn’t great

Our balcony sliding door was broken-unable to lock. The sink was falling apart-handle to turn on water. We addressed the situation, staff offered to fix it. They only addressed the door and it was still broken-temporary fix. By the time this was all done we were almost finished with our trip before they offered us to move rooms. Overall stay was ok, mostly liked it for its location.

Overall the hotel Was good for the value, valet parking nice, though very expensive. The problem we had with the property was we were told housekeeping every 2 days but a refresh available daily, our room was cleaned once in the 7 days we were there, we had to ask for towels twice and toilet paper. When they did come to clean they didn’t take dirty towels and didn’t wipe anything down or replace any amenities. Don’t have a garbage bag either.

Our stay was extremely disappointing. At check in, our room did not have towels or bedding for the sofa bed. It took three requests before they were delivered around 11:00pm. The bathroom sink was clogged and, despite two service requests, was not repaired for almost two days, leaving us without a usable sink. Housekeeping was especially frustrating. After requesting cleaning three times and calling the front desk to express my disappointment, the room was finally cleaned only after I personally stopped a housekeeper as she was leaving the floor. During our entire week long stay, the room was cleaned only once. On two other occasions, housekeeping came in only to change two towels. Although the staff was polite, service consisted mostly of empty promises. The room was not very clean to begin with, and by around 4:00pm it began to smell strongly of sewage. I had to close the bathtub drain and sink stopper to prevent the odor from overtaking the room. We stayed in room 653 in the second building. The air conditioning did not work well. We left the balcony door open for airflow, but outside noise became unbearable starting around 4:30am due to roosters and garbage trucks. I am giving this property two stars only because the staff was friendly and the location is good. I am surprised it has a 7.4 guest rating. At nearly $400 per night, this hotel is not worth the price and clearly needs better maintenance. We would not stay here again.

The property canceled my reservation after just 2 days and increased my rate for the remaining stay. They charged various amounts for different nights and could not clearly explain why the change was made nor why they would not honor the Expedia reservation commitment I spent alot of time while on vacation trying to resolve the issue which remains open as of today

Heater broke in the hot tub the 2nd day of our stay. Was not able to enjoy the pool or the hot tub the rest of the time. Housekeeping only came every other day. Ran out of pool towels every day. Was told to buy some at the store and would be reimbursed by the front desk. Conveniently located close to beach, restaurants and stores. Got coffee and bagels in the shop in the lobby every morning. Big plus. It’s a busy area. Partying until 3am. Very noisy. Rooms are clean but very small. Needed refill for body wash and shampoo.

Horrible experience!! Our room was not freshened up till the fifth day of our 7 day stay. The Jacuzzi heater broke after our first night there. At one point I couldn’t get any fresh shower towels, so I had to go to the pool and obtain pool towels just so we could shower. I kept requesting from front desk for three days straight for our room to be freshened up with fresh sheets, towels, soap, and toilet paper. No one ever came by to assist us so I had to keep going to the lobby to retrieve whatever items I needed. Our room was smelling from the buildup of wet towels, so I started putting the towels outside the front door. Also trash in our room was built up for five days. Not Marriott quality !! It was terrible!!

Older building, staff seemed burnt out and tired. They were polite enough but short with me when asking questions and seemed exhausted. I don't feel the cost was worth the stay nor did we feel appreciated for choosing this hotel. The only "happy" staff we met were the valet staff they were very kind and helpful.

The room was filthy the bathroom was awfully small and smelled and had not been cleaned in forever you could definitely tell the sheets and towels were stained with God knows what and the bed was definitely not even a queen. Don’t waste your money!
