Maybe too far away from convenient MTR stations and maybe a bit sketchy at night.
Nice hotel, rooms are typically small (given its HK). Room cleaned each day to satisfaction. Olympic station is about a 10 min walk away, same walk to all the action. Would recommend.
I requested a quiet room on a higher level and got a room on the 26th floor at check-in. The check-in and check-in were efficient. The staff at the hotel were helpful and polite. The room is small (as expected in Hong Kong) but clean. 5 minutes walk to the Olympics station. Took the airport express from the airport to the Kowloon station and took the free shuttle k5 to the hotel. The k5 bus runs every 20 minutes so there is no long way. Took the hotel own free shuttle to shopping, to the ferry station to Macau, and to the Kowloon station for the airport express to the airport. Enjoy our stay at this reasonable priced hotel. I would recommend Rosedale Kowloon and would stay here again.
Nice hotel located in a neighborhood in Kowloon. In walking distance to a bunch of local restaurants and shops. Our favorite part about staying at this hotel was that they gave you a mobile phone to use to make international calls back home (to the US) and you could take it with you around the city to help with navigation (via google apps). The battery life wasn't all that great, so use it sparingly. When it wasn't in use, we turned it off to help conserve the battery life. The rooms are pretty small, but doable. After all, it is Hong Kong.
Good hotel, convenient location if you're taking the bus. Good shuttle service, however I wished there was a bus pick up option and not just a drop off option. Normal sized HK sized hotel room. Good for the price. Only complaint is however my floor was non smoking my hallway smelled of smoke a lot. Once I was in my room the smell was gone. I would stay again.
Good stay except a walking distant to MTR, may be not recommended to friend
A hidden gem of the hotel located on the doorstep of the Golden Mile central Kowloon. The room was immaculate, no small detail overlooked & fantastic value for money too.
Location is ok but room is extreamly small good for only one person.
Overall it is a nice hotel, rooms were clean, staffs were nice.
Location is so so, but hotel is pretty new and service is good!
Nothing but raves about this place. Excellent value, super helpful staff, great breakfast, shuttle!! Just a great value for your money. Was only booked for one day but after the first day we had to stay for another!
It was a good hotel worth my money , room is very small and the bed is too next to the restroom but it was nice , the sky deck view is amazing .
The room was small as we expected, no noise, good wifi, good cleaning, close to mall. There are others host that smoked in front door. We had problema with bath (wáter turn cold)
We stayed here after staying at a 5 star resort in Hanoi, but it was overall a good hotel. The rooms were more like the size of a small stateroom on a cruise ship, but I assume that's pretty normal for Hong Kong. It was suitable, although I can't imagine staying there for a prolonged period of time. I'd recommend this hotel and would stay here again, though, so overall definitely decent value for the money.
The initial reservation was good unknowingly I got a 2 level upgrade for the room for the first 2 nights because the hotel was full, which ended up costing me a lot in the end. don't actually know what the difference of the room was, other than being on the 25th floor they did not want to show me the other rooms because it was too late. after i booked an other few night I had to pay for the difference of 2 upgrades to keep the same room. too much trouble to change room so I paid allot for the 2 level upgrade. they did give me the free breakfast after i tried to negotiate but i did not what I wanted. but breakfast was not great at all no bacon! everything was starch. cereal, bread, rice, congee, on my last day there before my 14 hour flight back the only protein was boiled ham beens cabbage and hard boiled eggs. how can i eat that and get on a plane? so I would not recommend breakfast. the upgrade i paid for also allowed me to have free first round on everything at the bar so I removed everything from the bar but on the second day they only refilled what they could not find in the room. I paid for that upgrade! therefor for those extras and they did not give it to me. I was too annoyed to complain. but other than that the area was nice not to crowded and plenty of good places to eat all around.
I found this Hotel very suitable for my needs and would stay again. Staff very helpful and transportation efficient.
The hotel completely exceeded my expectations. I am glad I decided to treat myself to the Executive option. The higher floor was nice, as well as the extra amenities. Arrived early, expecting to wait for my room. It was ready for checkin when I arrived. It's a good idea to locate the hotel before arriving. The Olympic station was the most convenient, I think.
The location is a bit far from the downtown. Ten minutes walk takes to Olympic station. You can find a number of local restaurants around the hotel. The room was small but nice and modern.
Definitely good value for modern amenities and location. Room is small but ample.
Small, well designed room with maximum efficiency. great use of space. Good price. Walking distance from multiple MTR rail & bus stops. Helpful staff. Was able to switch rooms to get king bed instead of twins. Hope mainland tour operators don't make the Rosedale difficult to book in the future.
