This was our first time in Hong Kong and we had a great time! The Eaton housed a tour company in the lobby that helped us plan our trip to Victoria Peak, Big Bhuddha, and Disneyland. The hotel had two restaurants available at the time of our visit, but was also very close to a number of other restaurants nearby; including Michelin rated restaurants and bars. There was a Starbucks and McDonalds across the street, if needed. We walked a lot, but the MTR was very easy to use. I couldn't believe how easy it was. There were plenty of taxis as well, but when we visited Hong Kong island, we had a hard time getting a red taxi to take us back to Kowloon. You'll need cash (Hong Kong dollars) for the taxis. We could have taken the ferry back, but took an Uber instead. Most restaurants have both Chinese and English menus, but when dining at the more local places, the English menu had a limited selection of dishes. If you like to shop, there are A LOT of options - malls, boutiques, outdoor markets, etc. For the most part, we were able to get around and communicate in English. We look forward to returning and exploring more of Hong Kong, especially the hiking trails.

We upgraded to studio but the room size is the same as the regular deluxe room. They just changed the furnishings but the setup is not even functional. the shower and toilet is just like a box. Don’t waste your money for studio.

a lot of noise from construction there doing they should say that they are under construction or remodeling to people before they book. jus at the counter when you check in they give ear blog for noise

This hotel was not very good at all that this was like sleeping on a mattress with a bunch of metal the rooms were very small shower is very small no water pressure this hotel looks very good from the pictures but it is not very good at all it has a four-star rating and you should be a two

Very close to Mong kok and tsim tsa tsui. Easy to commute as train is a little walk away. Small room but okay if you are staying as a tourist wanting to be close to where everything is. Would recommend

This month, July, the hotel was revamping several areas such as pool and exercise room on the top floor. The noise wasn't bad though on the 12th floor . We were given ear plugs at check-in. The internet was down for more than a day. I highly depend on the internet for work and study in addition to communication. The morning breakfast is usually pretty good but what hasn't changed for the better is having to always look for a chef to do omelettes. This is a priority item for many foreigners. The crew on Mondays seems to be different and the quality of service seems to dip a bit. The hotcakes were late and when they did arrive, they were hard as rocks!

2-3 minutes walk to bus stop to & from the airport, cost is 33 Hong Kong dollars, very convenient for shopping and restaurants. highly recommended. I'll be back next trip to HK.

Easy drive from airport. Great breakfast and good location. Walk to Temple Street market and Theo Jade market. Plenty of shopping and eating nearby.

Room was tiny, with the bed taking up so much space you could barely get past it. No door on toilet. World's smallest work desk, and nowhere to put the room service tray. And I asked for a late checkout, 6pm. They charge 50% of the room rate, which is normal, but I wish they would use the room rate they actually offered me, not the book rate. So the extra 6 hours cost me nearly as much as the whole previous night.

We had a great stay. Great location, Friendly staff. Few mins walk from the Jordan MTR. 7/11 cross the street. Good size non-smoking rooms.

We did enjoy our stay at the Etaon, Hong Kong. It was located near shopping and great restaurants. We could walk anywhere we desired. The hotel staff was friendly, the room service food was hot and delicious. The room however was small and stuffy. Electrical converters needed to be purchased and you were required to pay for the hotel shuttle to the airport. Overall a nice stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

Clean good location accessible for land transportation

Great location and excellent service staff. Will definitely book again.

I was issued a hotel phone for use around the city of hk that unknowingly was not cleared yet for use because i was surprised to be phoned by a hotel staff who embarassed me and irately called my attention and asked me to return the phone as if i stole it when i just checked in. I didnt argue anymore and simply returned it afternoon of same day. I had to cut short my tour around the city with my wife just to return the phone. When I told front desk about this bad experience and looked for the person who called me she showed me that the phone didnt register any call history so i didnt pursue asking for the person anymore. She apologized and then handed me the phone back and later when I tried checking call history myself after some calls to my surprise it registered a call history. Only then did I realize that the front desk person fooled me and tried covering up for the guy who called me. I didnt bother to complain further. We just decided that we will not use this hotel anymore and will not recommend to family and friends.

Nice hotel with nice amenities and excellent location. The only negative was that we wanted two single beds. The setup in the room did have two singles but you were only separated by a gap of 3inches.

Nice stay. Close to metro and food. Room was smaller than expected, but it was still very nice. Spend most of my time enjoying the city, do it was perfectly fine.

really had good time , had few problem but the management solved it .only the room can here next door tv , had a problem with that with my tv other people's complains about my tv to loud wish was not right , that next door guest should have go to retirement home to relax lol, anyway , great service and great food , will recommend it , will go back there.

Hotel is very busy in Summer. Location is midway between Yau Ma Tei and Jordon good location in Kowloon and choice of MTR stations. Taxi rate is a reasonable 22HKD for the first 2km

This is the best breakfast buffet I have ever had at a hotel, or even at a restaurant. A chef fries up eggs in front of you, all you can eat bacon, varieties of eggs, meats, pastries, lots of fruit (never heard of dragon fruit before), simply magnificent! The breakfast wasn't included in my reservation (which I didn't realize until getting there, annoyingly), however it is definitely worth the extra $15 per day if your reservation doesn't include breakfast. The glass elevators in tubes on the outside of the building make for a fun view up to the 22nd floor.

There are several restaurants in the hotel. When you book online or in person, you are given the choice of a free breakfast or Express breakfast. But, which restaurant does this and when does it open? I am an early riser and go to breakfast at 6:30a. When I did so at the most convenient restaurant near my room, I was told I was going to be charged $30HK. "Why, my reservation included a free breakfast?" Answer: This reservation is for 7a at another location. When you book online you are not aware of policy. When you come to register after a long trip and given paperwork some instruction in broken English, continue to ask about what, where and when is the "free" offer.
