The elevator was handy although we liked walking the steps. It worked for our family, each one having their own space. Loved having the beach, grocery and trolley within walking distance. Kids had a great time in the pool.

We loved the space of the house and the location was amazing! Right across the street was the beach cafe with live music, a beach store and all you can eat pancakes! The house was clean with plenty of starter supplies. The wagon they had was a beach wagon so it was super easy to pull through the sand. Our family really enjoyed the game room after being at the beach. The porch was great to sit and have coffee and watch the sun com out. Highly recommend this house if you have an active family and it’s location made it easy to try all kinds of local food.

Great location

Great location! Super close to the beach and places to eat. The house wasn’t that clean when we arrived. Bathrooms epically!!! The master bathrooms shower doors are broken and dangerous, the one door didn’t even have wheels on the track. The pool area is hazardous as well. All of the pavers are buckled and settling. It is definitely a tripping hazard. The outdoor fire pit also looks like it needs to be replaced. We didn’t even want to use it because it was so rusted and had many holes in it.

AMI Holiday Vacation

Great house for our family of 7 adults. Game room was a lot of fun with wide open space that opened up to the pool area. Elevator was a nice option to move groceries and luggage. You can walk across the street to Holmes Beach. The Waterfront is a must place to eat for lunch or dinner Northside of island. AMI is a great place to vacation. The community has done a great job recovering from the hurricanes.

Very positive experience

I'm shocked there are not more reviews on this property because it was pretty close to perfect. The location is great to beach, Publix and restaurants. It was clean. Well equipped with everything you would need. FYI ... there are 9 beach chairs available for renters. (I asked and was told 4 chairs so we brought 3 more which we didn't need). The pool was great. Just what we needed after a hot day at the beach. There are floats for pool. The game room area off of the pool was a huge hit with everyone. It gets super hot because no AC down there but the games were fun. Beach towels provided so that was awesome. I brought my parents who are in their 80's so the elevator was much needed and used by them. It allowed them to easily go from floor to floor without using the stairs. The bedrooms were all large and the beds were super comfortable. Great bathrooms. Shower water pressure was amazing. I just can't say enough good things about this property. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint, which is easily fixed, is the seating in the living space. There is one sectional which comfortably seats 5. They could really fit a couple of comfortable side chairs. We had 7 adults and had to keep bringing kitchen chairs over so that we all had a place to sit. (kitchen chairs are great for eating but not so much for TV watching). I would definitely recommend this house.

beautiful beach stay

The beach is beautiful..even with the red tide we walked on the beach and it was lovely. The home location was wonderful and nice to have places to eat in walking distance. My son was able to walk to CVS nearby. The trade off is The neighborhood can be noisy with blowers and yard workers just about daily. The pool right behind us had a large group and the music was loud at times...but that was okay for us. The traffic is pretty heavy on the island and there was a lot of construction. It was nice to come home to our very cool property at Salty Sands!
