I had few different hotels while traveling in Vietnam. This one feels like home. SO welcoming, so nice. And this amazing smell when you entering to reception. All staff were very nice and smiley, even helped us to order pizza as B-Day wish and delivered to the room. Room was cosy, clean and and comfy. They had good few English channels in TV as well, Wi Fi was strong enough. Breakfast was as buffet - with mix of Vietnamese and continental choices. Restaurant was nice, reasonable price. Thank you River Ruby Hotel for such a nice stay and taking care of us during our stay till the end.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, even went to their own purses to convert dollars to dong for us. The rooms were small but grand. The location was good with a lot of bars, restaurants and markets within walking distance. My only complaint was breakfast. The omelette wasn't cooked. On my second morning I ordered fried eggs instead and they were also half raw.
I have just started a job in Ho Chi Minh City and I stayed for 8 nights whilst searching for an apartment. I can't rate the Hotel highly enough. Their motto is we love to care and I certainly experienced that. Staff were extremely helpful, pointing me in the right direction to get a local SIM card on first day. Breakfast is a mix of Vietnamese or western dishes and is served on 9th floor which means you can have a lovely experience of the Ho Chi Minh Vista whilst getting ready for the day ahead. They do now serve evening meals in the restaurant and food is good but in Ho Chi Minh you are really spoiled for choice with regards to food. The location of the Hotel is excellent literally a 3 minute walk to Ban Than Market. I would recommend the hotel both for those on business as I was was but also for those visiting the City. Certainly would stay here again.
i've only stayed a night so i've not much experience during my stay in this hotel. but overall, don't have to expect so much for the rooms. it's not pretty bad. it's still average. Toilet is small. Rooms is small but comfy. i took the Ruby Double rooms. Pictures shown here is exactly what it looks like in the hotel. If you want complete silent at night, it's not recommended to stay in the hotel. Not very noisy but just some soft honking here and there. Location is good though. If you're hungry at night, there's a circle K downstairs. it's one of the nicest decorations among the hotel stay in that street hehe. The service was great as well. what's better is, they know how to speak english. :-) As for the breakfast, don't have to expect much because it's just a very small area for you to take your breakfast. Simple meals but the view is great. A little tips here other than the hotel: Only take vinasun taxi or grab. The rest is really expensive.
Hotel seems new. Modern decor and nice reception lobby. Welcome drink and friendly staff. Lobby includes comfy seating area, also has a foot massager for guests to use. Eateries and convenience shops nearby. Room could be considered small, but I found it had all the facilities one would need - and a shower with great water pressure. Bed was comfortable.
I stayed in Ruby River Hotel for three nights from 4 to 7 August 2017 and I mostly did not enjoy my stay due to the hot water and plumbing issues which were so inconvenient and frustrating especially after full days of excursions and tours in the summer Vietnam weather. Our room was nice and neat and had all the amenities except for hot water and on our second to last night we had issues with flushing the toilet and had to change rooms at midnight - it was so inconvenient! As we were touring for full days all we needed was hot water and a flushing toilet when we returned home and we did not get that! It was very frustrating. If not for that we would have had a great stay but those basic amenities lacking made us miserable and uncomfortable.
The location was very good, walking distance to everything we needed. Beds were quite hard, but customer service was amazing. Rooms had really good air conditioning that cooled the rooms quite fast. You get what you pay for with this hotel, included breakfast was nice, but nothing crazy, and the rooms were not big.
A very pleasant hotel. Nothing which makes it stand out, but clean and well run. The breakfasts were adequate i.e. average but again good but basic, nothing to complain about though. The hotel is very well located which as a walker is great because, that is how I get everywhere. The staff were always polite and helpful. I actually would recommend this hotel as a good value for money establishment. I would have given it 3.5 star really.
We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a 10 day tour. What's a wonderful friendly place to stay. The rooms are very clean and simple but all you need when you have so much to do. The staff are the best. We loved our stay and made some great friends with the staff. They even helped us out when stranded 10 days later at the airport for 13 hours by letting us use leave our luggage with them instead of paying 1.5 million dong at to airport locker room. Thank you Ruby River you helped to make our trip so great 👍👍👍
We spent a few days in this hotel during our trip to multiple countries in Asia. The location was great. However, the rooms were extremely small. This was the only hotel during our trip that charged for a late check out time. All of the other hotels tried to accommodate us. Overall, this hotel was just average based on comfort and services.
