Hotel in a good location in District 1 stayed 4 nights and a good base to look around the city. Two minute walk Ben Tanh Market and good variety of restaurants around. Room is not large but clean, tidy & modern and all that you would need. Good happy hour in the bar if you didn't feel like leaving the hotel. All staff were friendly & helpful. Pool attendant helpful with drinks on rooftop pool. Good value for money and would use the hotel again without any worries. Note there are 3 or more Liberty Hotels in the area ensure you choose the right one for the area you want.
Arrived at 10pm. Check in was fast and efficient. The room was well appointed. Clean and crisp linen. A perfect location for my overnight stay. Great location a few steps from the Ben Tahn Market rushed there for a quick dinner of simple local street food. Had my shoe shine done. The market has an abundance of Fresh fruit. Fish. Meat Flowers and of course the souvenir clothing
My family stayed here recently and I can't fault this hotel in any way. Location perfect for us, rooms clean, pool area great, staff excellent, breakfast variety excellent and good WiFi. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
Clean room, nice breakfast and really closed to Ben Tanh market. You can visit and challenge your bargaining skill at the market on the day, and also at night market outside (surrounding) of Ben Tanh market. (Tip : Price is cheaper on Ben Tanh market)
Stayed in August 2017 at the start of a multi destination trip through Vietnam. This hotel was in a great location within walking distance of lots of tourist destinations including the market and night market which was 30 seconds down the road. The room was a good size for the price, clean and very quite considering it's location in the centre of Saigon. The rooftop pool was great for cooling off at the end of the day with great happy hour cocktails! The breakfast wasn't included in the price however we did have it one day, it was average and there are better options just a short walk away. Hotel staff were relatively helpful with bookings for tours. Would stay here again in the future!
We had our last night in Ho Chi Minh City at the Liberty Central Saigon Centre Hotel in Le Thanh Ton St. We were looking for a little bit of luxury and quiet after two nights in a noisy apartment overlooking the metro construction work in Le Loi Street and were not disappointed. The service was impeccable, the room was spacious and super clean - as was the bathroom, and the rooftop pool provided the perfect relief from the Summer heat. Breakfast was top notch, and we received an automatic room upgrade when we checked in. They matched the online booking websites for the tariff, provided welcome tea, stored luggage, and have a spa as well as a pool on the 12th floor. Staff were always smiling and helpful and there's a bistro which is good value on the ground floor. The bonus for us was that we were invited to use the 12th floor showers between the time we booked out at midday and when we left for our late night flight.
This hotel is located literally next to Ben Thanh market. For a first time visitor it's a good choice. I was there on business purposes and had great use of the proper wifi and the location in downtown Saigon. The double rooms are fairly small for two adults, but works for a few nights. Another good thing for the visitor is the rooftop pool that will cool you down in the Saigon heat. Next to the pool is also a fairly well-equipped gym.
Just a few steps from the really, really touristy central market and touristy shopping. Breakfast has enough for westerners but nothing special. My room was clean enough with the exception of the shower which had more mold than grout between the tiles. Supermarket to buy real food is about a 1.5k walk and you really need to get out of the central bit to find local - locals not trying to sell you something.
We'd stayed at this hotel 12 months previous. On our previous stay everything was fine except the plumbing - toilet did not flush ans basin was blocked. Guess what, toilets still don't flush and sinks were blocked. Reception staff are now less accommodating - you won't get a room early and requests seem a chore. Seems management needs to give staff a good shake up - everyone is too complacent .
Such a great place to stay, the hotel staff are so nice and make you feel welcome. The hotel is so close to Ben Thanh market and has so many food options available. Highly recommend this hotel to stay.
