This Hotel was not safe .Stealing money ,Room cleaner are opening bags to steal money.Room was not cleaned properly everyday .I got sick .Always very dusty . Booked window room ,But cant open window. Not wroth for money. Some of the front desk staff and customer services staff was good.
Center location, Great staff, Room spacious, Worth every penny, I'm looking forward to comeback again soon. Great buffet breakfast, the staff was very helpful, always smile while I come back. Highly recommended.
While checking out I was sprung with a huge bill for a messley few cans of soda an bottles of water a tin of Pringle's an a crunchy bar, -the price = 1.57 million dong Not sure if they miss calculated or in actual fact the were incredibly over priced. -lesson learnt -didn't have time to question it but wohhhhhh
Recently stayed for three nights in this very convenienetly situated hotel. It is just a short walk from the Ben Thanh bus station which is easily reached from the airport on the new airport shuttles. We arrived very early but the reception were friendly and helpful and made sure we had a room by midday. The room was clean and attractive with a nice modern bathroom. The shower over the bath set-up was a little strange and it was difficult to keep the floor dry as there was a gap between the bath and the wall. The room cleaners were very good at getting the room dry and oresentable again every day. The hotel athough close to a night market was quiet. Breakfast was good and there was the added bonus of afternoon tea with cakes and snacks. I would recommend this hotel as it is close to many of the well-known sites such as Notre Dame and the Post Office.
This hotel is well situated for many of the things you want to see and do in Ho Chi Minh City. It is straight across the street from the markets too. Our room was quite small and had no window but we had a spa bath! The staff were extremely helpful and even invited us to join them in a meal on the Tet holiday! Breakfast was quite good but if you left it too late everything was a bit cold.
We took a middle priced room, (always best to avoid the windowless rooms). I found the staff to be pleasant and keep an eye out for Mr Dong Anh,, very friendly, efficient guy who always appears to be on duty doing something, he makes the place complete.A little room noise but forgiven for the comfortable bed and pillows,, it's Vietnam , your always going to hear noise from the street. I do not like the lighting panels beside the bed !!! Grrrrrr. Buffet breakfast was superb with a reasonably extensive room service/dining menu.Great location. Room and particularly the bathroom was clean. For $50 a night I thought this place was better than most at similar pricing.
My partner and I stayed at the newest hotel "signature" which was located next to the blue diamond. We were greeted with refreshments on arrival and were taken to our room. The room was lovely and spacious but smelt terrible. After three nights in the room and a plumbing issue we finally asked to be moved as it was becoming unbearable- this was done without issue. The wifi in the rooms is extremely slow but air con is great. Buffet breakfast is very extensive! There is free high tea from 3-6pm daily which was lovely. The pool area is very small and had construction next to it (not very relaxing). The spa service on level 1 is an absolute rip off- we had terrible messages which were $40 each and they then requested a 10-15$ tip. Very mixed emotions about this place but it is in a great location!
The negative ratings are mostly correct. A&Em is more shiny on the outside but has some serious issues on the inside. Staff at reception was friendly at our welcome and showed us our room. Looked fancy at first glance but only had a window the size of a laptop. Felt like a coffin to me. In the bathroom we discovered mold directly beneath the ventilation hole (note that there was no actual ventilation at all! See pictures). We could change the room to another one immediately but only with separate beds, perfect for friends but not for couples. Next day we could choose between a room without a window or the room with the mold that was said to be fixed already..?? - breakfast was sufficient but nothing special - aircon centrally controlled - noisy room on the 9th floor - some bugs in the room - too expensive for what you get - tour and activity options are quite good, booking was no problem - location was perfect
We request a non-smokimg room, and booked a month before we came. However, when we arrived in 5 p.m. They told me the room is full and took us to another hotel and arrange smoking room for us with unclean bathroom! IT'S A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We are really angry and won't come again. This staying experience ruins the whole trip.
The hotel is okay. You really get what you pay for. The room is ok sized but service was decent. I stayed in January and again in November. In that time, the large spacious breakfast area room has been removed and the breakfast is now located at the end of the hallway in the lobby. Best thing about this hotel is the location. Directly across the street from Ben Thanh market and close to a lot of other touristy things in the area. I had a Senior Deluxe room on the 9th floor but the elevator only goes to the 8th and then you have to walk a flight of stairs. November is rainy season and one night it rained really hard. There must be something metal on the roof as that's all I heard for the entire night was rain falling on something metal - noise was very loud but there wasn't anything I or the hotel could do about that.
