Pullman Saigon Centre5.0 out of 5.0

The Pullman Saigon is better for tourist visitors rather than corporate visitors. Reception took 75 minutes for check-in. There was a group of 12 of us, which co-incided with the arrival of other regular hotel guests. The long check-in was painful. We had a business meeting on the second floor, with about 80 participants, for 5 days. There were only 2 cubicle toilets on the third floor. Again, another long wait every single time. The triangular plot of land Pullman Saigon is built on is narrower on one end and broader on the other. The architects have tried their best to maximize space, hence the odd shaped building, with smaller guest rooms and fewer amenities. Probably great for revenue, not so great an experience for guests. Buffet Breakfast & Lunch: This was awesome, and after 5 days at the hotel, I've yet to sample everything proffered at the buffet. Mad Cow was also excellent. Kudos to the catering team!
I stayed 2 nights for a conference. The room was flawless, and the service great with friendly staff. I stayed in 25th floor with a check-in at 30th floor. Absolutely great service. The price is at the higher end. I liked the location with lots of local life nearby.
Hotel is nice and clean. The overall service level is good. Breakfast spread is good and we enjoy the lovely evening dinner at the Madcow rest. The only issue is Smelly pillow we hope the management can improve on it.
What a beautiful hotel that is very modern with every comfort. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with up to date appliances, the bathroom shower and toilet can’t be faulted. The restaurants are expensive but the food first class, we’ve tried 3 out of 4 so far and has been excellent. Finally the staff are really friendly and do their very best to be helpful in assisting you. First rate hotel.
Stayed 4 nights in the executive suite of this hotel. Rooms are fantastic, service is superb and food is so delectable Thumbs up for their excellent services..Can't ask for more... Will stay there again when I return to this city
Very disappointed with this hotel and expected so much more. So much do that I really question the ratings. The room was not practical- shower rose at about 8’ and the showering experience was like getting soaked by rain. Hand held shower head too low and I had to keep switching to wash my hair. Overly large couch in room obstructed movement. Doors opened the wrong way in shower. No door on bathroom area. Very disappointed with buffet breakfast. It had not been restocked with juices, no small spoons anywhere to get into butcher muesli glass, cold cup of tea, no milk provided for tea or teaspoon to stir. No salt and pepper on tables and I could go on and on. I don’t normally write a bad review but I was terribly unimpressed and won’t ever come back to this hotel.
Highly professional and thoughtful staff combined with superb food in the club lounge made our stay a memorable experience. Hotel is located a little away from major tourist sites but taxis are cheap and you are right in the heart of chaotic Saigon. New Mad Cow restaurant on the 30th floor is worth experiencing... Aussie beef and local seafood.
I have stayed at the Pullman around 10 times, I already posted years ago my opinion but I had to revise it just because they deserve it. Before I was already hooked with this hotel but now Im addicted. For real, I try to be very objective with my comments. Besides all the good things Ive already posted like the great location to the market, to the backpacker street, or the great burgers at the lobby cafeteria, or the clean rooms and the great pool and gym now I must also congratulate the hotel for two super nice upgrades this year. One is the MadCow, a very good but a bit expensive Grill at the top floor, nice view, nice vibe and excellent food, thumbs up, and the second upgrade is something other hotels already have developed but I thing is a really good thing, WhatsApp customer service, I used it a lot outside and inside the hotel and the people working are just the best, answering super fast and reacting to all my requests in no time. Excelent job Pullman, after over 40 nights there in the last 7 or 8 years you keep surpising me. One more thing, if you have enough time to make your reservation and you can spend some time at the hotel I recommend you try to book the Executive Suite, is a superb room in the high floors with access to the executive lounge, super convenient.
Spent 5 nights in the executive suites. A fantastic room with fantastic views of the city. The staff and their service is first class. Breakfast is excellent and the restaurant serves great food. Love Saigon and this a great base to see this wonderful city. Thanks Pullman. Will be back.
Access to the Pullman is easy from Ho Chi Minh airport. We used an Uber and it cost VND99,000 for the 45 minute journey. We booked an Executive Suite and were whisked up to the Executive Lounge to check-in on our arrival. The staff were very attentive and provided great service. We were upgraded to a Signature suite. The room was huge with a lounge area and the best hotel bath I’ve ever seen. We made good use of the Executive Lounge that serves a good selection of food and drinks, alcohol between 4pm and 6pm. The lounge has an incredible view over Ho Chi Minh, it’s a great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The hotel breakfast was excellent. A great choice of western and asian flavours. I would highly recommend eating here during your stay. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus around the city but with Ubers costing $1 to $2 USD for a 10 minute trip it’s probably better paving your own path. The pool area is quite small but there is a great toddlers pool if you are travelling with children. The gym is large and modern. Overall the Pullman is an excellent choice in HCM. If returning I would stay again.
