The hotel staff were lovely and very helpful! Their service was great and I give them a star for their assistance. However unfortunately the hotel itself was awful, there was a strong smell of cigarette lingering throughout the hotel, and the window was broken and jammed open. Not to mention the air conditioning wasn't working in my room, I'm not too sure if its because it was 35 degrees Celsius and the window was stuck open or if it was the "Check Filter, Service Required" message. The hotel was very noisy and you can hear all the plumbing, your neighbours and road noise. I was pretty unimpressed and sadly checked out as soon as I checked in as I felt unsafe at this establishment.

The property is located adjacent to the bustling Japan Town which stays active from noon to 3am - understand that this activity is normal. If you don't want that, choose another option. The staff is amazingly helpful, respectful, and always willing to help. Breakfast was simple and fresh. The room was spacious by US standards. If there was a complaint it was the tub water pressure, but it wasn't terrible. Everything was clean and updated, nothing seemed like it could be better. I'd definitely stay here again and highly suggest it if you desire a place in this area.

Great location

Great location about 10min walk from the Opera. Good selection of bars and restaurants on doorstep. The room was amazing... Duplex and a whirlpool bath :) Breakfast nothing special but OK. Loved our stay, would stay again. Staff very lovely and helpful.

Great location, comfort and jacuzzi.

Great location of the hotel with plenty of eateries nearby. The suite room is big, clean and comfortable and the jacuuzi bath tub is a plus. The breakfast is a good mix of continental and asian options, like croissants, salad, noodles, porridge, juices etc. Only down side is there will be noise from a pub opposite at night. It is not that significant for the suite rooms higher up.

Hate leaving negative reviews. Really do, but this hotel and room just did not work for me. I like the location, very close to Japan Town, and easy walking distance to other sites as well. But the room with the "loft bedroom" did not work for me at all. The ceiling for the loft was 5 ft. (152 cm). You have to crouch our crawl on your knees to move around the bedroom, which is where the television is. This was unacceptable for me. Issue number two was that the overall room felt dark. It had one small window, which let in very little light, and the room itself did not have lighting to compensate. I was on the 7th floor and every time I entered my room I felt like I was entering a basement suite. The room had only one uncomfortable chair. The one positive I can give for the room is the tub and bathroom amenities. They were above average to very good, but were not enough to cancel out the other negatives. Breakfast buffet was below average, with items quickly running out and a delay in restocking. Sorry, but I cannot recommend this hotel for future visits to the area.
