My girlfriend and I stayed here for three nights in July 2017. The room was quite basic, but it was nicely decorated and homely. It was perfect for what we wanted, somewhere to stay while exploring the city. The food at breakfast time was good, with a decent selection always available. Be sure to have the waffles which are cooked upon request. The restaurant itself was on the 9th floor with a good view of the city and outdoor seating available as well as indoor. The location is good, very close to the main tourist attractions of the city, we weren't too far from the Bitexco Financial tower and close to lots of bars and restaurants. We walked everywhere across the city. You can get a bus to here from the airport very easily. Be sure to check out a nearby rooftop bar called the View, which is above the Duc Vuong Hotel. It is only a couple of streets away. The staff were very friendly and helped us to book an excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels for a very good price, and they picked us up and dropped us at the hotel. They also helped us to book a cheap taxi to the airport the day we went home. All in all a great stay!
Very comfortable room and a lovely breakfast with lots of choice. The location was good; you can walk to most tourist attractions/sights in about 15 minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful. For the price we couldn't have asked for more.
It started with a very lousy greeting upon arrival. No help with luggage was offered and we were presented no information regarding neither the hotel facilities nor about the city in general. When we got to the room we noticed that the air-conditioner was leaking water, a problem it took the staff three tries to fix. They where good humoured about it, but having to call in the same problem that many times gets annoying. In addition, many places around the hotel smells of really strong perfume, including the hotel room. The breakfast buffet is decent, but be sure to be there in good time as they stop restocking about an hour before the buffet closes. This means that if you, like us, decide to sleep in one morning, will have to do without coffee and juice. Overall not a good experience and I do not think that this hotel deserves its three star rating.
For budget to mid range traveller, the room is tiny, a little old fashion but clean. Provided free toilet goods, the staff is friendly and smiling. Breakfast is fresh and good. Asian Ruby is a chain, there is couple in the city but totally worth it for a short stay.
We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The room was small but nice, and it was a good location. The breakfast was very average, with not much variety/selection. Our window in our room was very noisy and rattled throughout the night. Not the hotel's fault, but there was a cockerel that was crowing all hours of the day/night. Overall a comfortable pleasant stay, but perhaps a little expensive without a deal
My husband and I stayed here while on vacation, it was beautiful, the rooms were beautifully set out with everything you needed. The breakfast in the mornings were the best part of our stay as they always had yummy food on the menu. Thank you for a wonderful time.
This is an alright hotel, akin to a premier inn in the U.K., clean and basic. The reception area is nice and well decorated. We were booked to stay in a superior deluxe double room but I'm not sure that's what we had as it looks like a pretty standard room to me. The air con wasn't that cold and the small window in the room is on mental runners, so when the wind blows it rattles, this is almost constant and if you're a light sleeper like myself it might keep you up, along with the roaster outside but that's not the hotels fault! The breakfast is again alright, the omelettes are made fresh for you but the rest is nothing to write home about. The location is good and everything is accessible by walking. Overall it's an alright hotel.
We stayed in the Asian ruby select for 1 night before flying to Hanoi. This is a large well maintained hotel in District 1. Much like a Premier Inn in the U.K. The staff were excellent and no request we made was too much. They looked after our bags when we checked out so we could explore further before our flight. The room was very clean and well presented. Great bed & a spa bath in the bathroom. Happy hour in the bar is 2 for 1 drinks between 4 & 9 with a quiet rooftop bar that allows you to see accross the city.
We stayed in this lovely hotel for a night on our way to Phnom Penh. The check-in was late, however, the receptionist made a quick check in less than 2 minutes and take us to the room. The room was good with a king size bed with refurbished bathroom. Enjoyed the room. Room temperature was not to my expectation as I love very cold air-conditioner but it was a bit warm for me. I have mentioned this to the staff when check out, but they asked me, if I had requested they could have given me another room. The breakfast could be improved, but value for money. The rooms are clean and nice location, walking distance to the city center. We will come back again.
The hotel is comfortable with decent-sized rooms, with a fantastic lemongrass scent greeting you as you enter the door. The location is ideal, within walking distance of all the major attractions. There is a small supermarket right next door for supplies and the hotel will change forex as well. We had an issue with our shower in the room we were assigned to and we were moved to another room on the next day without any issues. Breakfast is simple and good. Wifi is really fast.
