Used to be a famous and very very good hotel& restaurant but it has been outdated and they are about to be renovated soon. One and only elevator is so small, 1/2 size of USA, we had a twin room with 3 beds and there was very little room left. No A/C due to season, all Japan hotels we’ve been to during 4/2-4/10, has no A/C, only heater. Their window opened so it helped with cooling the room. Outside temp 50s-60sF. I heard this hotel will be renovated soon. Lobby has stairs so have to carry your luggage. It has a small elevator for wheelchair access. They had free socks only laundry service. I did not use parking or dining. Very convenient location, lots of place to eat and shop at walking distance, you can take the street car train to the station. Staff courteous and polite, will help you if you ask it, reliable. Small bathroom too but I’ve seen smaller. Good amenities and glean. WiFi connection not consistent. Good place to stay if you want to stay in the city. I liked their lobby, can see outside and I used it to meet up with my relatives.
the staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is very well located. However, the carpets were very old and dirty. The beds were in very bad shape. We had difficulty sleeping well. This hotel is not a 3 star hotel at all. It needs to be fully renovated. the only good thing was the bathroom.
Excellent location! This hotel is within walking distance to sights, Hiroshima Station, shopping and just about any food you can think of. It’s cleanliness standards fall short of Tue norm for Japan. There was mold on the ceiling and dust in the rug. With many hotels nearby I would not choose this one again.
Location to shopping and restaurants very good, hotel staff friendly and helpful. Room very small with minimum amenities. We booked two rooms. For two, ok. For three, no closet, minimal space for moving about with pullout bed, no desk space. Saw another room with triple accommodations that was roomier. Gave us the cheapest room???
booked this hotel and thought it's a good deal for the location. Location is great, shopping and dining all easily located nearby. But the hotel shows its age: single pane window, old and dirty carpet, AC vent grille is so dirty that I opened the window for ventilation. Room size is OK, not tiny but on the small side of western style hotel in Japan. My hotel booking is non-refundable. At the night I checked in, being a bit disappointed I looked up hotel in Hiroshima again of the same date, this hotel is selling for half the price I paid. Needless to say I'm really disappointed
the area is in the center, though the hotel is a bit its is nice hotel.
