Espacioso, escondite en la ciudad

Nuestro hogar es un escondite cómodo y privado, básicamente en el centro de la ciudad de Highlands. Mientras que el vecindario se siente como una subdivisión tranquila y escondida, puedes caminar a Main Street en minutos. Ver la puesta de sol detrás de las montañas desde nuestro porche trasero es la manera perfecta de terminar el día.
La casa es una casa de estilo rancho con mucho espacio para relajarse y establecerse en la vida de la montaña. Es un verdadero paseo a la casa de la ciudad con aceras casi todo el camino desde Main Street. Invitamos a las mascotas y a los niños a que visiten a sus adultos responsables para que disfruten de nuestra casa.
Tendrás acceso a toda la casa durante tu estancia. Gran sala de estar con un gran televisor, cocina abierta y comedor, gran porche cubierto con una vista hacia el oeste (increíbles puestas de sol), y 3 dormitorios, 2. 5 baños.
Nosotros (Robin y Mason) somos locales (¡Robin es nativo!- una rareza en Highlands), así que no dude en hacernos preguntas sobre nuestra comunidad mientras esté aquí. Si nos necesita, estamos a solo un texto de distancia. Pero no se preocupe, no seremos molestos anfitriones durante su visita si no nos necesita para nada.

Great stay

Our family of 5 enjoyed our weekend stay. The house was located in a quiet neighborhood with very easy access into town. The home was spacious and comfortable, and check in was simple. It had everything we needed and made our stay easy even with 3 small children

Highlands vacation

A wonderful stay in Highlands. Grandkids enjoyed the recreational center: pool, pickle ball & gym for adults. The adults enjoyed the short walk to town and nightlife!

What an amazing place!

So close to town just a short walk! Edelweiss desserts just up the road. Pickle ball and swimming at the community center was enjoyed by all! The place has an ideal layout and dinners enjoyed outside!!! Owners provided everything you could possibly need! I highly recommend this place!

Very nice experience

The home and accommodations were very nice. We enjoyed our 4 night stay, and loved sitting in the back porch watching deer and a white tailed fox stroll by. The home is within easy walking distance to Main Street in Highlands which was an added plus. Thank you to the host family!

Girls Weekend

The location was in a quiet wooded neighborhood a short walk from Main Street. The house was spacious and we enjoyed the large deck on the back of the house. It was a great spot to play games and enjoy our morning coffee.

beautiful home perfect location

we loved our stay here ! Its 5 min from town and the rec center which i used every day to swim laps. The home although only 5 min from town feels like you are out in the mountains as you have no neighbors and view only lush green trees from the balcony. Its really a lovely place . The owner was hospitable friendly and asked several times if we needed anything...but of course we didn't. The restaurants were FANTASTIC Paoletti for fish....MP for Korean Salmon barbeque or cury veggies with shrimp over noodles ....so delish....The Bridges for monk fish.....YUM

The house was so great! I loved the layout and it was perfect for our family of 5 plus my in laws. The house was so nice with a great kitchen for cooking and rooms for relaxing. It was better than expected. Super clean.

Great House Great Location

A family of four with pet dog loved the stay. The house is clean and updated. The location is good as you can walk into town. We loved the outdoor porch for meals and playing board games. Plenty of activities in Highlands. The Rec Center is 1/4 mile with pool and tennis.

Awesome home in the heart of Highlands

Perfect spot for our family to gather over the holidays. The home was spacious and had everything needed. We loved the back porch with the great views in the evening. A short walk to downtown Highlands makes it an even greater place to stay.

Comfortable, kid friendly house in an excellent location.

Robin's place is a comfortable, well appointed house on a quiet street, a short walk to town. We spent the month in the home and traveled with our infant, toddler and 2 dogs - the house is very kid friendly. Our favorite features were the back deck (nice sunset view), the flat front yard where the kids could play, and the proximity to town. We loaded the kids in the stroller, leashed up the dogs and walked them to the Playground, Park, Main St. and Harris Lake (duck pond) daily. We loved our stay at Robin's place and look forward to booking again very soon!

Great Stay!

Property is well located close to town but just far enough away in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Loved the back deck for morning coffee and wine at sunset. And the cozy family room for an evening movie. Our dog loved the front window for gazing at chipmunks, the resident rabbit and just waiting for us to return when we occasionally left him. Plenty of space and parking. While we're frequent visitors to Highlands and know our way around, Robin was a lovely host--very responsive and made herself available should we have needed anything!

Great location, wonderful space.

About .5 miles from town, there’s a sidewalk that almost reaches Pinecrest Rd. We made the walk many times with a stroller. Great restaurants..make reservations. paolettis, Wolfgang, 465, wild thyme, Madison’s, bridge...in that order. Scaly, Rabun Bald, Whiteside, whiterock, chatooga, nature center, Glenn falls, ranger falls, and satulah are all within 30 minutes drive...moving baby is happy baby. Great spot to work remote. Fast internet..even on a VPN. Webex and remote servers no issue. Nice nook off the kitchen has a perfect desk with view. Keep the pups on a leash for potty breaks! Rabbits are always in the front yard at night.

Mountain retreat for Thanksgiving

We had a lovely time and enjoyed the convenience of the location to downtown. Back deck was wonderful and would enjoy going back when weather is warm.

Birthday trip

We really enjoyed the convenient location of this house . We were able to go back and forth to downtown when we needed to. With an infant in the group it was extremely helpful. Very comfortable home. The mattresses were extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay here again

Comfortable and Charming

The house is very charming, well appointed and in a great location. We loved the very large back patio/porch where we were surrounded with beautiful trees and nature. Overall, great stay, terrific host and we hope to visit again.
