Nice hotel though it could use AC. The big disappointment came from the staff, who seemed completely indifferent and unaware of the concept of customer service. My younger daughter's room was not made up one day, which got a "So what do you expect us to do?" reaction from the front desk. Plus they failed to fix a serious leak in my shower, which resulted in a serious flood in the whole of the bathroom and entrance hall on day 3. I will be complaining as I believe the owners need to know and take corrective actions.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you experienced some issues and apologise. I have spoken to my Housekeeping Supervisor and she informs me that she personally cleaned your daughter's bedroom when it was highlighted she needed service; I believe the bedroom was not serviced as your daughter hung a do not disturb sign on the door and only removed it later in the afternoon. I apologise if the receptionist's response was poor although it would appear the service requirement was communicated to housekeeping. The receptionist who checked you out did log the shower tray issue on the maintenance log and placed this bedroom out of order; the maintenance team are repairing it as I write my response. I apologise if my team failed to report this on previous days; there are no other entries on the maintenance log regarding this issue apart from on your check out date. The hotel owners are planning a complete refit in October 2017.
