Service was excellent in reception and restaurant. The room and especially beds were quite small. But lucky that we had almost quiet room. Some renovation is needed! New windows and bathroom? Location is very good. Breakfast was okay. A lot of stairs can be problem for some people!

Aware that Scandinavia is expensive but the €120 for a room that was reminiscent of a basic en suite bedroom is a bit steep. The bathroom was no more than 10ft wide. The bed was comfortable however, the shower itself was a powerful but the lack of space will cause an issue for some. The breakfast was edible, not worth €20 a head. Location was fantastic, as were the staff. The layout of the hotel reminded me of an old fashioned mental institution.

Great location, walking distance ok to railway station, shops around the corner and couple nice bars near. Try the Sky Bar and check out the wiew from ladies room :) Rooms with balcony are definitely +++ Thanks for great service!

We visited Helsinki to celebrate Finland 100 years. We got to choose between a modern room or a "jugend" room. We chose the jugend. It was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. I would like to stay here next time I stay overnight in Helsinki.

The hotel is in a walking distance from the main railway station. Right in the middle of the city center. The breakfast is alright, rather expensive though. I found a good fine dining restaurant nearby.

The hotel is situated in a perfect position – about 5-10 minutes to walk to the Central Station and about 15-20 minutes to the Market Square, but in a quiet minor street. At the check-in I was told that during the week-end it could be loud in my room due to the bars around, and I was offered the possibility to change the room. However, I did not need to make use of this offer during my 4 nights‘ stay. My single room on the first floor was in the older part, furnished in Jugend style. The room was of normal size for a single room, the bath-room as well. Room and bathroom were in good conditions and perfectly cleaned during my stay. There was a kettle in the room. The staff was friendly. In a 4*-Hotel I would expect a password-protected WiFi, however. Breakfast was all in all ok. Excellent: tea made with loose tea served at the table (however, there are tea bags as well). Normal choice of bread, cheese, ham, salmon, eggs, ecc. To be improved for a 4*-Hotel: choice of sweats and fresh fruit. Jam was excellent, but there was just one type, the same for cakes (two types). During the week-end it was difficult to find a free table, as the hotel seemed to be highly frequented. I came for business reasons and added a private stay, I would recommend the Hotel for both reasons.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 weeks, in two different rooms. +location at the city +staff +clean +good condition -rooms were quite dark -other of the rooms was quite noisy, noise from street (garbage truck) at early morning. -No sauna or gym

Stayed one night at Torni. The room was very nice, roomy and modem. Ask for a room higher up, especially on a weekend, since it can get noisy with recycling bottles sounds from the very nice pub O' Malley's. Great location in the middle of town super close to Form mall.

The historical past is present in a nice way in the architecture and furniture. Although only 3rd floor, the room was quiet, no disturbing sounds from the street. The breakfast included the essentials and was good. Service was friendly throughout our stay. The top bar views over the city are always amazing. Worth a visit!

One night, weekend stay, managed to get a single room for about £50, which in my experience is very good value for a quality hotel room in Helsinki. The location could not be any more central. Had a ground floor room, which was very quiet, but that says more about Helsinki than the hotel.
