We didn’t stay here but our tour guide took us to the rooftop bar for a welcome toast at The view was amazing and the drinks were good but pricey (as you would expect for any rooftop bar).

An iconic building in Helsinki with (from the higher floors) nice views of the city. Rooms vary in size and standard. I had a fairly small one, fancy style but not too practical. Nice bed though and quiey.

Wonderful historical hotel and a perfect location. The receptionists were friendly but seemed a bit stressful. The room was nice and clean. Well almost clean. The bathtub had not been cleaned for a while. I had kids with me and before using it I had to wash it thoroughly. It was late in the evening so I didn't want to wait for somebody else to clean it for us. The breakfast was typical Scandinavian breakfast. Nice and healthy. Will absolutely recommend the hotel for a short holiday in the capital.

I have stayed here twice now and I cannot fault it - it's a fantastic retro art deco type hotel and the decor is just amazing - the rooms are all different - they have 3 bars to choose from including an irish one which i love as part irish and the breakfast has a more that adequate selection - its central to everything you need in Helsinki - highly recommend a stay here - stayed for 8 days and enjoyed every minute

The hotel with a tower provides a wonderful view of the city form the restaurant at the top of the tower. It is an old hotel very tastefully done but with small rooms. The location of the hotel is great as it is in the midst of the city and shopping areas.Very easy to commute form here. Value for money and serves excellent food of wide variety.

Good experience, good breakfast and location is perhaps best in the city. Room itself was jugend solo suite and really attractive visually. Bed was perhaps too soft to my taste but sleep quality wasn't a issue during my one night stay.

Stayed here for one night for business trip. Almost 5-star experience. Very friendly service, hotel was almost full so I got a free upgrade to a better room which was amazing, and the breakfast was excellent. But. The business center. A bad joke. Yes, they had two computers and a printer. The computers had some mysterious operating system, which didn't read my usb stick, and couldn't understand powerpoint files correctly. In result, it was impossible to print the slides I needed. Not good- it's 2018 anyway... so if you need a hotel with a good location and everything else but don't need business center services, this is a good option.

I come to Helsinki quite often in business. For the first time I decided to test Torni. After all, it's almost a decade old. Unfortunately that showed. I was asked whether I wanted traditional or modern room. So I chose modern which turned out to be decorated probably in the '90s. The room was extremely small and very cold. But the worst part was that there was not a single towel in the room. Unfortunately discovered that only after my shower so cold room + no towel was a terrible experience. For dinner I had the house burger in the restaurant down stairs. It was almost tasteless and the bread was hard as rock. On the positive side everything was very clean and nothing was broken. Staff was okay too.

We booked a Jugend suite for one night, and it was a bit dissapointment. The room is located on first floor, and the noise from the passing street woke us up at 5.30 am on Saturday morning! Not mention about the view, facing street.. I know that the hotel was fully booked, but perhaps we would have chose another room, if we had the information about room location. Alltought room was clean, and bed comfortable. Bathroom was clean, with tub - but the shower was way too low for my husband, even at the highest position. We will not book this room again. Breakafast was good, with many choises to have. Very nice staff!

It was 15 years that i hadn't visited Helsinki and the beautiful cafe torni on top of the hotel! it still is the way i remember it and with the beautiful view. only bad thing is the very expensive coffee.. one cappuccino 6,40 euros...
