Great location, good hotel and good value for money. Would recommend for sure.

No issues, nice clean hotel, close to everything and very nice staff. No language issues.

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the world, and I think that the service here was the best among them! Staff went out of their way to assist me in making a local phone call as the use of plus sign before numbers was truly foreign to me. Then he called back to see if my call had been successful and to then dial it for me. Outstanding. The breakfast service was ample and fresh. Finnish coffee is not my favorite but that is no fault of theirs! The room was very clean and tidy, the style modern in this vintage building. Even though it was very centrally locate, completely silent with black out curtains which kept the 3 am. early light out of my sight!

We arrived in the middle of the night and the staff was very understanding and helpful. The location was perfect to allow us to explore this lovely city on foot and get to and from the airport at odd hours.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and hotel were very clean. The daily breakfast buffet had food for everyone. There were omelets made to order, sandwich ingredients, sausages, fresh fruit, yogurt, pickled herring, smoked trout, cereals, etc. The locations made it easy to travel downtown Helsinki with my mother, who was in a wheelchair. The bus and train station is very close and the public transportation system in Helsinki is excellent. There are beautiful jogging trails behind the hotel. The only drawback was that the air conditioning did not work in our room. The room temperature averaged 24-25 degrees celsius. The front desk brought up a fan, but it was still too warm.

The staff was extremely friendly & helpful. The location was great - right in the heart of Helsinki & close to the bus/train station. The hotel was super clean. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with made to order omelets as well as cultural selections like smoked trout and pickled herring. The beds were very comfortable. We did experience trouble with the air conditioning. It didn't work in the warmer than normal conditions. The front desk did provide us with a fan, but the room was uncomfortably warm to sleep in.

This hotel is pretty close to perfect for a business stay. The location is great for getting to/from the airport using the Finnair bus and also for shopping/restaurants. I also liked that Wi-fi and breakfast are included. Pros: good breakfast, location Cons: wi-fi was slow, the room was a bit small (but fine if you are alone)

Staff not very knowledgeable about the historic sites or public transportation. Otherwise very comfortable stay

This is a simply wonderful hotel for a solo visit to Helsinki. The location next to the train station is not particularly quaint, but so convenient and easy. For my taste, the room was perfect. The bathroom lighting was beautiful. The towels were thick and the pillows were soft and cushy. There are outlets all over the place in the room. I skyped home from bed. Everything was spotless. The breakfast was huge with something for everyone (including, for me, oatmeal and bananas). I don't know how the room could be so quiet, but I heard no noise from either the street or inside the hotel. One of my all-time favorite hotel experiences.

Horrible hotel-brown shower water, no fitness facilty as advertised.

The hotel was central to everything. We could walk to town or the tram. Many restaurants and bars very close. This was a great choice of hotel!

Great location downtown: next to train station, close to shopping, restaurants, etc.

Hotel staff was outstanding - very helpful. They made dinner reservatoins, cab reservations and allowed us to check in a little early. Location was very convenient to all local transportation and walking to city center.

The location is great with first class accomodations, nearby restaurants and things to see, and a beautiful park up the street about 50 meters.

I stayed for one night for business in Helsinki. The location is an easy walk from the central railway station at the city center, yet is on a quiet street with little traffic. I was greeted by friendly, multilingual staff at the desk. My room was a combo of very modern yet funky/retro interior and appliances. Room was very quiet and clean.

This was a great hotel. We were in Europe for two months and stayed in a dozen hotels, and this was the best! The service was truly first class. This was the only hotel where questions like, "what do you recommend for a walk/view" were answered with lots of possibilities and details. They even helped us to get the best deal on the ferry to Stockholm. The location is brilliant. It is on the bus terminal side of the main train station, and the bus from the airport comes directly there. Immediate access to city center with lots of bars and restaurants very close. Location is central and you can walk anywhere in the city within about 45 minutes. The rooms were very thoughtfully designed, in an expected Scandinavian style. This was my wife's favorite hotel room. A refrigerator in the room for beers. It has A/C, which I don't care for (the windows don't open) and is quite frankly not necessary in Finland. Rooms have a good work area and free wifi. Great bathroom. The breakfast is very good.

I have nothing to complain about. The service, location, breakfast, and cleanliness were all great. It was one of the best stays that I have had at a hotel. It was a great experience.

great location, nice clean rooms fabulous breakfast buffet.

Good value for price. Great staff. Good stay overall. Better than my stay at the Hilton Strand in Helsinki.
