This is an older (1930) hotel that is vert well maintained and has a great staff. The room was not large, but was large enough to be comfortable. The bathroom was comfortable and very clean and well maintained. The area was a short walk to most areas of interest and at night very quiet and great for sleeping with open windows. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

Overpriced for very small, barely adequate and dated rooms.

Great place to stay, reasonable price with a very helpful staff. Close to bus and tram pickup points and a short ride to all the sites of Helsinki. Adequate breakfast to get your day started Would happily stay here again. The staff was wonderful

Facilities in room could be improved. eg. rail for clothes turned so all visible, a few more hooks, in bathroom drain further into the shower

I LOVED this place and would stay again any time! The breakfast is to die for! Nice staff. Cozy and quiet place walkable to city center (15 min. walk) or quick trolley ride (5 min.)

Nice old-fashioned building and elevator, the breakfast buffet was pretty simple but tasty and appetizing.

It is a good hotel, room for one person is a bit small but adequate, and great location in the city. Good value for money, and great breakfast included.

Very pleasant hotel. Clean comfortable room, though rather small. Good bathroom and shower. Helpful pleasant staff. Varied breakfast. Within walking distance of the center of the city. I would recommend this hotel in the economy sector.

The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the main shopping (Sokos, Stockmann, etc). There aren't a ton of amenities such as a gym, but there is a sauna and a fantastic free breakfast! The staff are really helpful and will call cab, order a car rental, show you places on a map, etc. The room was small but had a mini fridge and was very clean. No A/C or fan.

Traveling through Scandinavia, Helsinki was my last stop. I had stayed at a variety at hotels, and by far, Anna Hotel was the best! I had a single room, but it was spacious. There was even an umbrella stowed in the the room that I could take and use during rainy days! Breakfast was included with the price, and since this was the cheapest hotel I had during my trip, the included meal was greatly appreciated. There is also a sauna in the hotel which you can reserve, I'm so glad I did because I felt so relaxed afterwards. The staff was friendly and helpful, the location was central, overall Anna Hotel provided an excellent stay for an amazing value.

Clean, quiet hotel within a few blocks walk of the center of Helsinki. Breakfast is quite good. Hotel staff are pleasant and very helpful. The desk clerk called the airline to inquire about my lost luggage for me.

The location is about 10 minute walk to the main station. Good for the price.

For a business traveler it's a nice one. Located just 10 minutes south of the station.

Great location, no air conditioning, rooms are ok, breakfast quite good.

Small room but boutique feel, perfectly suitable for a single traveler like myself. Free breakfast was a bonus and the location is great. Easy walking distance to waterfront and train station. Highly reccomend this hotel to anyone seeking a good value in an expensive town.

One problem for me was that I rented a car, and hotel parking was in the next block in an underground garage. To make matters worse, I got a ticket while I was checking into the hotel. Also, when I asked the desk clerk if there was an ATM for me to get cash, she informed me that getting money in that manner wasn't possible in Finland. However, when I went down the block, I saw people getting money from an ATM (called "Otto"). Someone in her position, epecially since she deals with tourists, should be aware of such things. BTW, I was able to use "Otto."

The location can not be any better. You get great service there and everyone is very friendly and helpful. The only thing is that there is no AC and the first room we stayed at was facing the street. At night, after a whole day of sun exploure, the room got really hot. We couldn't open the window to sleep since the hotel is close to the city center and some bars. The next night we asked for a room with window open to the court yard, it was much better. In general, the place is great for the price in Helsinki.
