We enjoyed our stay in Hellsten Espoo. The atmosphere was relaxed and cosy. Great and enthusiast staff. The Room had all we needed to make our stay comfortable. Great location. Easy and enough parking provided.
First and Last Time I stayed at this hotel. People at reception have been great however room was extremly smelly and not really clean. It is an apartment hotel, so a small little kitchenette was there, the microwave was pretty dirty. The toilet could have used a proper cleaning.
Free parking. Near the hotel. Very quiet in the hotel. Good room with sauna. Purely. After walks through the autumn Helsinki it is very pleasant to bask in the sauna. The kitchen has everything you need. There was a kettle, a coffee maker. Comfortable sofa and bed.In room was fresh air, but not cold. The view from window was on the park. A large shopping center can be reached on foot. Very good breakfast. My husband liked it))). Free Wi-Fi. The hotel has a "public" sauna. Everyone can book it for an hour.
Excellent hotel, friendly staff, good and big parking, excellent breakfasts. It was a great trip. Near a large shopping center, in 10 km is the center of Helsinki. Quiet and peaceful place. Quite clean rooms, there is an elevator.
The kitchen was good, the room was big. Looked like an apartment. There was also a table to do work on computer. We'll stay there again. It is a quite cheap place (according to the prices in Helsinki, you can't expect better quality than this. Treavelling by car, very good location.
A nice play to stay in Helsinki if you come here by car. The hotel is situated rather far from the city center, but it is easy to find it and there is no problems with parking. the brakfast was perfect everyone was satisfied. The room also was very nice
Located in a very quiet area, nothing is around so you'll have to drive or take a taxi to go anywhere. My room was very small but it did the job for the rate I got, I was surprised to see a lot appliances in this tight space (fridge, cooker). No dining options in the hotel and nearest place to get food was a 5-10 min walk to a close by petrol station mini mart. I've seen better hotels in the area but if you are tight on budget this could be a good option.
We liked everything except for ONE NOT pleasant thing. Let's start with positive things: great location with proper parking with enough parking lots which is great. The room we had was spacious with separate bedroom and kitchen and living space. We had a quiet room overlooking backyard with trees. Decent breakfast with delicious croissants) and welcome buffet staff. The mattress was comfortable. Reception staff helpful. There is one HUGE MINUS... - DIRT. I read here reviews and people wrote about it. However, I thought it might me dusty... No, it was DIRTY. Imagine, the room never being cleaned/washed... this seems to be the explanation... The linen and towels are clean and fresh. But this is the only thing the cleaners do, I guess. Dirty walls, dirty facade of furniture, dirty inside shelves of furniture... We could not use it the way we would like to for it was squeamish... If administrators DO NOT care how BAD their cleaners work (despite so many comments of many guests, administration does not take follow-up steps), I would not recommend you spend your money there... So sad... it might have been a very great place of stay.
Everything was very clean and Nordic restrained! It is a beautiful hotel and the staff were absolute concise.Sauna on the cold nights It's great! Thank you very much for your service, your hospitality, your parking, your breakfast, your internet!
"Lived" here for approx. 2 weeks during winter, had a very nice experience. Not too far from the train station by walk (Leppavaara), you can find everything there in the shopping mall (Sello). The hotel itself is located at a very quiet area, which is so great after work. Can be found 15-25 minutes away from the airport by car/taxi (depending on the traffic) - nice when you need to travel in the evening/early in the morning. My queen sized bed was very comfy with plenty of blankets, also the heating worked well - even on the coldest days -, never felt cold at all. Bathroom was really tiny & bit worn/dirty, compared to the bedroom, however fine and did its job. Staff was really kind, helpful, you can ask for anything. I appreciated the in-house laundry room, where you can wash/iron your own clothes, also there's a sauna, but never tried. Breakfast had a wide selection of food, even hot meals, was a nice start for the day. Wifi connection worked really well - I managed to do some works from the hotel room, was fast enough. I also had a kitchenette with microwave oven/small fridge equipped in the room, was also useful during the cold days, when I didn't want to go outside. Overall I'd prefer this hotel to others, once I need to travel there again.
