This was the dirtiest and oldest hotel I ever stayed in, comforters were awful, heat/a/c was ancient. No counter in the bathroom, we didn't have a closet either. It smelled very musty in the room. This room was way overpriced. We had no amenities with this room.
Arrived motel is easy to find right off main road. Motel staff while didn't speak much english were nice and got us the key quickly. We than were walked to our room which was room 14 while the room was clean and had a modern flat panel tv it was retro 60's era with few upgrades done. While checking how clean it was we did note the mattress was newer and was comfortable. Linens and towels were clean. The bathroom was clean and surprisingly good condition for everything being 60's fixtures. The bathroom was dark though since the wall light had 3 burned out bulbs. Little details like that were missed and should be addressed. There was plenty of good water pressure and hot water. Since the toilet was older it did have issues flushing larger amounts of paper and did clog the day we were leaving. Room 14 is adjacent to the lobby with a locked pass through door to the lobby. What this means is noise. We noted a few times through the night the ringing lobby phone and staff walking around next door and upstairs. This along with the main road noise outside meant limited sleep. My best guess is this number 14 room was designed as a staff bedroom back when the hotel was built era 60's. At a later time the upstairs staff area was built. So avoid room 14 if possible. This motel does not offer breakfast but there is coffee offered in the lobby. The WiFi is fast with a strong connection. The parking lot is small with only 2 spaces per room so plan accordingly if you have a large vehicle.
Nice lady at the desk . She said I was getting the best room . It was very clean but dated. The carpet , furniture and furniture has never been changed since the motel opened probably in the 1970's and the TV was like the ones I threw away several years ago .Make sure other guests at this motel bring soap and shampoo . I have never seen cheaper products in my life . The soap was smal and already crumbling in the package and the shampoo was in a little packet kind of like a ketchup packet but smaller . A woman with more haIr than I have could nerer shampoo her hair with that packet .
I usually stay at 3-star+ properties, but on that fall Saturday everything in the area was sold out so I ended up booking Regal Inn. The king non-smoking room was old, very basic, but it had everything we needed including a small fridge and a microwave oven, and smelled ok. Everything was clean. The staff was nice and super friendly. After all, we were happy with the stay especially as we saved for a good served dinner...
This hotel is just down the road from Tallulah Gorge. It was close to restaurants and a theater. The room was very clean. There were no amenities-no tissue in the room, no breakfast. Good place to stay for a short amount of time.
It was a $50 room but just barely. It suited our needs. [...]
This was a short stop & stay as we drove through north Georgia. The hotel is older but it was clean. It served its purpose of a good nights rest.
